Happiness, Unhappiness… And the pretense of happiness

XmTF_460Osho’s article will resonate with a view that is closest to the Western view: look at the positive. I actually think that the approach has been damaging, because it quietly, silently, makes wrong the aspect of things, the aspect of people that you don’t like, don’t approve, don’t accept, don’t want.

Simply says: it perpetuates the cause of your unhappiness and then it masks it with a pretense of happiness… a lie.

When you are told “I’ll teach you how to be happy” you expect to be taught tricks and stuff, and you will be cheated: because all the doing won’t do a thing, will just make you a pretender. And although others may not know, you, deep inside, will know that you are more unhappy than you were before.

You could read Osho by fully embracing that he says yes to both sides, what you like and what you don’t like. Both are there.

The approach we take in the Happiness Coaching program, and even stronger in the Playground, that most of what you don’t like is not even real. You made it up, from the limited perspective of a child, and now you are stuck with it, unless you slowly and somewhat painfully get to seeing the truth.

The truth will set you free, but first it will piss you off…

The operative word is “first”.

worryingIt is temporary. The pain of the truth. Seeing that you made up stuff, that you were at fault, that you are behaving badly is painful at first. But once you see it, and go through the pain, that is inevitable, you start to have a choice. You start to grow up from that stunted child, and start behaving as an adult, who has tools to discern, who has tools to communicate, who has tools to live an amazing life. Really.

OK, here is Osho’s article for you:

Happiness

If you are unhappy, that simply means that you have learned tricks for being unhappy. Nothing else! Unhappiness depends on the frame of your mind. There are people who are unhappy in all kinds of situations. They have a certain program in their mind that transforms everything into unhappiness. If you tell them about the beauty of the rose, they immediately start counting the thorns. If you say to them, “What a beautiful morning, what a sunny day!” they will say, “Only one day between two dark nights, so why are you making so much fuss?”

The same thing can be seen from a positive reference; then suddenly each night is surrounded by two days. And then suddenly it is a miracle that the rose is possible, that such a delicate flower is possible among so many thorns.

All depends on what kind of frame you are carrying in your head. Millions of people are carrying crosses. Naturally, obviously, they are burdened; their life is a drag. Their frame is such that it immediately becomes focused on everything that is negative. It magnifies the negative. That is a morbid approach towards life, pathological. But they go on thinking, “What can we do? The world is such.”

No, the world is not such! The world is absolutely neutral. It has thorns, it has roses, it has nights, it has days. The world is utterly neutral, balanced – it has all. Now it depends on you as to what you choose. That´s how people create hell and heaven on the same earth.

PS: the visitor on one of the Happiness calls, with a vibration of 130, wrote:

My vibration too low for that call?

I thought the session was for “Happiness Coaching”. Nothing further from the truth happened on that session.

It appears that most of the individuals that were on the call are having difficulty having too much time on their hands and over thinking every miniscle fleeting thought that enters their head. I believe you let your own frustrations color your measurements. I’m sure you will mistake my comments as being mean, but, that is not where I’m coming from.

I wanted to see if there was anything that would be helpful (to me), but, too often it seems that you are very angry and judgemental. Yet, your vibration is off the charts. Go figure.

Conversations for truth are not for people whose vibration is on the basement level. They KNOW THE TRUTH already, and aren’t interested.

If you expect to get snake oil, things to do, affirmation, positive thinking and other useless or harmful stuff and teachings, this is the wrong site to come: I don’t teach anything that is ineffective. If something comes up ineffective for you, it means that you weren’t ready, or you weren’t ready to do the work required of you.

I cannot make you happy. Only a shift in your consciousness can make you happy. And shift needs you to do something: no one can do it for you.

My courses, especially the Playground, are really effective taking you through the shift… taking you through the pain within its two hours per session. Most people most of the time can get through the pain, and to the clarity, where they can OWN how they see and do things. Most people, I said. Some people will need more time. But even for them it is worth it.

There is nothing else on the planet (I think) that can even come near it in its simplicity and its effectiveness.
