24 Timeless Life Lessons From Children Stories

The-Lion-King-1-the-lion-king-20129092-1150-665-1000x450Some wisdom we could have learned as a child… but didn’t. But it is never late…

I came to America as an adult, and missed most of these animated movies… can you identify them for me? Please?

Also, if you have a good quote, wisdom, for life, from a children’s movie, a fairy tale, a cartoon, a fantasy movie, a book, please post it… I’d love to have a collection from my readers… and maybe create some illustrations for it. That would be really cool, right? Thank you in advance.

  1. Some pearls from kids’ mouth – excerpts from the book “The pencil writes with heart” (literal translation). The book is a collection of children’s answers to different questions in a Serbian research conducted in the late 1960’s.

    PENCIL AND FOUNTAIN PEN
-They are not same, a fountain pen is better because it doesn’t need sharpening, and when you sharpen a pencil you can cut your fingers.

WHY IS PENCIL BETTER THAN FOUNTAIN PEN?
-A pencil is much better because when you break it you get two pencils, and when you break a fountain pen you get a beating.
-A fountain pen writes with ink while the pencil writes with heart (which is used as a name of the book).

    A PLANE AND A CAR
-A plane can even fly upside down, but a car crashes right away.
They are different by the road map.

    THEY ARE NOT SAME
-A plane has an engine in the sky, and car has it on the ground.
-Because a traffic policeman cannot stand in the sky.
-When you watch a plane your neck hurts, but cars are nice for watching.

    A PLANE AND A BIRD
-A bird is born, but a plane must be made.
-A plane sings ‘thickly’ while a bird sings ‘thinly’ (literal translation)
-We don’t pour gas (petrol) in the bird, it flies on its own
-Sparrow eats wheat, but a plane can’t.
-A bird can be eaten by a cat but a plane cannot.

    FUGITIVE
-It’s me when I stole strawberries and afterward I was fugitive

HOW DOES ONE BECOME A FUGITIVE
-When you’re going forward and you’re going all fast-like and everybody’s shouting “get him”.

    FISH OIL
-I don’t want to tell you anything because it’s not nice question.

    BIRTHDAY
-Birthday is a day for being born.
-For a birthday, they make a cake for you to eat with candles, but guests like it a lot and there’s little left for you.
-For your birthday they give you something because they pulled your ears.

  2. Hi Sophie,

Mike from Monster UniversityQuote from Monsters Inc. in the movie the main
characters go to school and learn to be scary “Mike”
who is an over achiever academically, but is not scary, at the end of the movie after a big adventure
of self discovery “Sully, his friend, says to him “You’re not scary, not even a little bit. But you are fearless.”
I love his friend saw it and told him.
