How do you think of yourself less? your about-me score

How do you think of yourself less?

What does that mean? Thinking of others? By becoming a do-gooder?

OK, I am going to clarify something. Something that myself don’t quite know how it works, and why it works that way.

So it may come out incomprehensible, botched up, and useless. But, in my view, it is worth to try…

Note: if you only read one example, make it #5!

OK, the issue: one of the measurements is to what degree your life is about you and your life… the words I use I borrowed from someone else… True humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less. and the words are ‘to what degree you think of yourself’… as a measure of humility i.e. how much room you have to learn and grow, how much room you have for the world, for work, for life… for others. The Desire Trap and how to release a life of wants

The Desire Trap and how to release it… A life with greed, want, desire, or resistance cannot be a happy life

The book Feelings writes at length about the Desire Trap,

Quoting from the Feelings book by Margoczi:

Although the desire trap may look harmless at first sight, this is the trap the most people suffer from around the world.

Is your vibration a good measure to ask for?

Is your vibration a good measure to ask for? What one number could be better?

Hundreds of people ask for their vibration, or their frequency… and none of them is too happy about the number they get.

Why? Because they don’t know what to do with that number.

This article will explore a more useful number, a number that, if you are so inclined, can grow… and your vibration and life satisfaction will grow with it.

My training/coaching program focuses on another measure…

If you find yourself behind the eight ball… way behind

If you find yourself behind the eight ball… or way behind…

I am surprised this is just surfacing now.

Someone being behind their rent, behind other payments, or behind taking care of their health and the numbers are going crazy.

Getting to what seems to be unmanageable.

What do you do?

Your/my inability to be with what doesn’t work will take you there. Just give it time.

The sound of scrambling is everywhere.

So without making you wrong for what you have done wrong… Continue reading “If you find yourself behind the eight ball… way behind”

The fraudulent promises to change your core beliefs

Do you think that the words spoken in your head are your beliefs?

What words? you say.

That ‘what words?’ was two of those words. The words that are spoken in your head.

There is a whole lot of talking that seems to be going on in your head, and if you think it is you, then they accomplished what they intended: you become a puppet on a string. Word-string.

There is no such thing as a belief, and those words are NOT belief.

Don’t believe me? Just add words consciously, and see how much difference they make. None, that’s how much. Continue reading “The fraudulent promises to change your core beliefs”

The magic of self-management… Fear tends to go away

You’ve got to define what’s enough for you. And that is what you should aim for

Until you do that, you are dealing with too much freedom. To much freedom often leads to unclarity, to confusion, or inaction, where fear, ego, delusion rule.

It is smart to define that and it takes smarts to define the dance floor where you can win.

What is winning?

Winning always needs a game. Continue reading “The magic of self-management… Fear tends to go away”

Do You Think You Can Tell WHAT You See? Accurately?

Most of us, we are sure we can see everything. We are sure we see the world exactly the way it is.

We make decisions based on what we see. And our decisions and actions take us to live the life we live.

Most of us live a life of quiet desperation. It was true at the time of Henry David Thoreau, and it is true now.

We don’t even know why we see something that isn’t there, and why we don’t see things that are there… But ultimately we clearly make decisions, act from faulty data, faulty information. Garbage in/Garbage out. Continue reading “Do You Think You Can Tell WHAT You See? Accurately?”

Entitlement is a worldview? Really? Not an attitude?

entitlementErnest Hemingway once wrote a story on a restaurant napkin In Key West, a story in six words.

For sale: baby shoes, never worn

He could have written about all humans, about my students… who are just like those baby shoes; unfulfilled dreams… unfulfilled potential.

I just finished my ‘Distinctions’ podcast call that today was all about entitlement.

The podcast is the recording of a weekly (Friday) conversation between a student of mine and myself.  I designed it to go deep in some areas of life, an invisible dynamic…

Entitlement is invisible in ourselves… Continue reading “Entitlement is a worldview? Really? Not an attitude?”

Hope, hopeful… are they useful or harmful? let’s look.

One of my students who, on the surface appears optimistic, enthusiastic, and unstoppable, saw yesterday that inventing herself hopeful could change her life.

Hopeful is not one of the ways of being that are considered, traditionally, healthy and high vibration.

Why? Because hopeful, the way people use it, is a mind thing… while beingness is not a mind thing at all.

When you are hopeful, the way people use it, you are waiting for a benevolent universe, or some angel, or some deity to give you what you want… So hopeful, as the way people use it is a passive mindset, which is low vibration. Continue reading “Hope, hopeful… are they useful or harmful? let’s look.”
