Even cowards can endure hardship; only the brave can endure suspense… yet another principle

‘Even cowards can endure hardship; only the brave can endure suspense.’ (Mignon McLaughlin)

99% of what is (reality) is invisible for the uninitiated. Unrecognizable. Puzzling. Mystical, Miraculous. Unexplained.

My programs, in part, are initiating programs: initiating you into these invisible yet very real mysteries. For example the 53 invisibles

Enabling you to see and recognize the dynamics below the visible layer of people, behaviors, societies.

And on yourself.

People are really mysteries for themselves… and even after initiation, they want to keep those inner dynamics a mystery, because, between you and me, those invisibles are not pretty. And they run counter to people’s precious ‘I’, the way they fancy themselves to be. Continue reading “Even cowards can endure hardship; only the brave can endure suspense… yet another principle”

What prevents you from getting what you want?

When things don’t work, there is something that you don’t know.

One of the capacities an architect needs to possess if they want to be a good architect is being able to move their attention at will, and to widen and narrow their field of vision at will.

Interestingly, these are the capacities that are needed for a lot of professions, CPA, business leader, politician, scientist, movie maker, coach, and, although it is not a profession, for someone who wants to get out of the morass of the human condition, and onto the vertical plane of clarity, joy, fulfillment.

I won’t explain why you need these capacities for the professions although I could.

Because the business I am in is taking people to the vertical plane, so I am interested in people practicing, using these capacities.

Enlightenment’ is the word other people use for what I am attempting to do here. Continue reading “What prevents you from getting what you want?”

Desire trap… or how desire takes you out of the present moment.

desire trapDesire and ITCH are largely the same state… neither can be fulfilled, neither allow you to be happy… ever.

I speak about this in quora.com
http://bit.ly/quoraupvote

How do you get rid of a desire? You can only suppress a desire for so long. How can I search and destroy the root of the problem?

To begin: the question shows that you have a desire to be desire-less… as far as “bad for you” desires go… very funny.

There are no desires that are good for you.

What is the difference between “I am” and “I have been”? They both create yourself… but which is the right you?

I wrote this article almost two years ago, and suddenly it became as current as anything…

It is a great companion piece to my article for today:

As I am continuing giving long and substantial “strategy sessions” to people, I am learning a lot.

I am seeing stuff that cannot be see through feeling. I am seeing stuff that won’t come through in the Starting Point Measurements, no matter how good a tool muscle testing is. Some things won’t even become clear in a short call…

I love the expression: “in the limited perspective of the human mind” and now I am inclined to add that even inside the human mind, you can look at things through different perception organs… and you’ll see more if you use more than just your favorite.

Most people’s “perception organ” is to turn to, habitually, to what they have already decided. The mind.

This gives you the least true-to-reality perception, obviously.

But my method for the Starting Point Measurements has been limping on one leg as well: Using feelings only. Continue reading “What is the difference between “I am” and “I have been”? They both create yourself… but which is the right you?”

Go beyond where you NORMALLY stop… Go to where the sun shines, no matter what the season is

I woke up disgruntled… (=angry, dissatisfied) almost ready to go into devastation (which is my “home page”) but it all changed as I sat down and began to write. What was going to be a rant, became a celebration.

I guess I am not stuck with, neither am invested in, nor am I resisting being someone who rants when I feel beaten, or slighted, or hurt…Most of my students either are invested (i.e. known for) or resist being angry… i.e. stuck with being angry. Why and how the hit-bottom method works? And how you can alter the future with it…

hitting bottom is a good thingIn numerology, each number has a special meaning… and even the components of your final destiny number…

My main number is 7, my secondary number is 4.

I like 4. Four symbolizes a chimney: there is only one way to go: up.

Most numbers have sideways moves… and that is what most people do to avoid growing. To avoid what it takes, work, pain, telling the truth… avoiding these at all cost… even if the cost is everything and anything they ever wanted…

So as a coach, I have to take them to a magical turning point: I need to force them to hit bottom. If they let me… 🙁

I had two workshops yesterday… And in the second, two of my participants volunteered to declare that they hit bottom. Continue reading “Why and how the hit-bottom method works? And how you can alter the future with it…”

Are you a dabbler, a sampler, an “I’ll try that” person?

One characteristic of the 99% is that they don’t heed Alexander Pope’s warning:

“A little learning is a dang’rous thing; / Drink deep, or taste not the Pierian spring.” 1

This behavior even characterizes the 99% of the One Percent.

Why is being a taster, a dabbler, a person who samples, tries out, but never drinks deep from anything keeps you from joining the 1%? Continue reading “Are you a dabbler, a sampler, an “I’ll try that” person?”

It takes courage to become all you can be. Most, 99.99% don’t have it.

What is courage?

The dictionary says: “courage is the ability to do something that frightens you”.

Or said in another way: do something in the face of fear…

I simply call this TLB, the Twitchy Little Bastard score…

If you are not courageous, you are a Twitchy Little Bastard. You run, you hide, you lie, you manipulate, you blame, you do all kinds of things other than a courageous person would do.

There is a tale that illustrates this: Continue reading “It takes courage to become all you can be. Most, 99.99% don’t have it.”

Yesterday’s enlightenment is today’s pretense

  • Yesterday’s transformation is today’s arrogance
  • Yesterday’s glimpse of the truth is today’s guilty feeling
  • Yesterday’s enlightenment is today’s pretense

You may not be able to see it on gurus… but I can. Gurus are liars… because they share an incident in their past that doesn’t go beyond that moment…

But repeating that incident is hard… and most of the time we don’t know how it happened… like a past life memory, or any other insight. The mechanism is hidden from our view.

And then this gurus go around doing what gurus do: extrapolate from that one experience, and teach the unsuspecting millions the only way… ugh… They teach how to live, how to think, how to this and that…

And because you want what they are talking about, you fall for it… Make a decision to do it, buy it, follow it, and then it doesn’t work.

But…

How one is to make decisions in life? Decisions that work… It’s not a stupid question…

I understand what you are saying… I hear what you are saying… I see… Which one do you say?

When you tell someone something, depending on many factors, you are going to get answers that belie their relationship to what you told them.

I once had a driver: she took me to do my weekly errands, I didn’t have any transportation. I talked a lot when I am in her car. Her response to most of it was “I hear you…” That is a non-committal answer, the politest way to say that they consider you noise. That they put up with you speaking.

I have students that say: “I understand.” They took what you said and fitted it into what they already had in their mind, and found a fit. Unless what they understand are the instructions, I know that what I said was wasted, and nothing will happen.

The answer I most appreciate is: “I see it.”

In order to say “I see it” one must track the dynamic, the interaction, the forces, the whole picture. I see it potentially comes from the Observer aka the Witness.

Our goal in this work is to live out of the Witness, or at least spend most of our time there. In the unfrazzled peace of the Witness. In reality

The state you all seem to strive for, the grace, power and fulfillment is only available when YOU are in the Witness.
