What is “Natural Growth” and how to Accomplish it, Spiritually, Personally, and in Business

unnatural growthGrowth feels good... People who grow experience being fully in life, in a dance with life...

Growth feels good... and yet, most of the people I know are either stagnating because they don't put themselves in a situation where they need to grow, or they put themselves in the courses and seminars and coaching programs to grow, but they don't grow because ...

Well, what comes after that "because" is what this article is about.

I participated in Landmark Education for 26 years, and went from seminar to seminar, from course to course, from training program to training program. Without any break, without any time given myself to even know what the heck I learned.

In any 3-year period I did 20 programs, including seminars, coaching programs, coaching in programs, courses... In another 3-year period I did only 3. What happened?

Good question. I grew. Continue reading "What is “Natural Growth” and how to Accomplish it, Spiritually, Personally, and in Business"

Magic Bullet… How To Make a Miracle

You wave your magic wand, and bada bing bada bang, a little magic dust, and you have a miracle.

  • Or you take a little pill, and you wake up beautiful, slim, sexy, and rich.
  • Or you pray that God gives you a miracle
  • Or you meditate
  • Or you buy that get-rich-quick scheme that promises overnight money with no work at all
  • Or you play it over and over in the theater of your mind... You feel it... you appreciate everything... still...

But all these don't cause a miracle.

No matter how skillfully you wave the wand, or how fancy (and expensive) the little pill is, how passionately you pray... etc. etc. etc.

No. none of them work.

Will You Succeed or Will You Fail in business or pretty much any other endeavor?

Everyone has dreams, visions of success... A good job, a nice family, nice people, nice work, nice house...

But that is not what people have... When you ask people what made them who they are today, invariably all of them answer a version of the same thing: The past.

How they express this varies: my parents, my schooling, what I have been doing, my genes, etc. etc. but all in all, they all mean the same: what makes me who I am today is the past.

If that were true, that would be bad news, really.

Imagine that it is true. Now see yourself trying to be successful online. Given your track record, and your genes, and your past behavior, how much chance do you have for success?

I'd love to say zero, but it would be unfair to many of you. So instead, I answer it in a way that applies to all of you:

The same as yesterday. Or a year ago...

Now, that is a total bummer, isn't it? Continue reading "Will You Succeed or Will You Fail in business or pretty much any other endeavor?"

Law of Attraction vs. Victim Mentality… Choose!

I wrote this article back in 2007, when I was in Pam Ragland's course...

I want to address the phenomenon of the "Law of Attraction" vs. "victim mentality" in today's post.

Most of us interpret the Law of Attraction as a kind of "Cosmic Soup Kitchen" where you sit at a table, a waitperson comes and takes your order, and then you wait for your order to come.

Sometimes your order comes, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you get something totally different, something that you didn't want.

Some people's order comes faster than yours, some others' slower, or never.

It all seems random, and capricious. Like the Universe is playing a game with you.

Frustrating to most, happy and great for some. It seems like there are chosen people, or lucky, and something invisible marks YOU as the one who should never get ahead, never get what you want.

How Does Your Personality Effect YOUR Life? Personality is what you interact with…

I wrote this article 12 years ago. I was 60 years old. I had a lot more money than I have now, I wrote my blog only for my personal pleasure, like a journal.

I was the happiest I had been in my life... but I had no idea that I could be happy... every day, no matter what.

That came later... I was still looking for a home, looking for answers to questions, like why am I not liked... as you'll see in this article.

I am republishing the article because, I think, you'll see yourself in it... especially the in comparison part.

I am comparing myself to others and I am coming out short... while I fancy myself better... lol.

Comparison is a very potent misery maker.

Hey, when you are BEING a knucklehead does it mean you ARE a knucklehead?

Hey, when you are BEING a knucklehead... does it mean you ARE a knucklehead?

Or you are just doing the only exercise most people do: jumping into conclusions.

Listen if you can recognize yourself in this story:

A lot of my clients find themselves in a trap...

For example, they make a mistake. They are frustrated. Or they are scared. Or they are angry. Or they are devastated. Even suicidal.

They say to themselves: Here I go again!...

...I am never going to get it right! I am never going to learn this... I better give up while I am ahead! I am stupid! I am a loser! and on and on and on I could go with the examples how people abuse themselves.

The invisible dynamic: resentment: Your Blessings are Trapped… Want Them? Go Get ‘Em

Your blessings are trapped ... in other people.

Take back the Light! Go to one person today, with whom you're having trouble seeing eye to eye, and tell them (in a proactive manner) something they are right about.

The more difficult it is to confront the person, the more Light you will reveal. Now, go get back your Light that you are giving to other people!

This is a Kabbalistic way to say: you've been giving away your power to everyone you are "incomplete" with.

Incomplete means that there is some charge on something that happened, they did, they said, or didn't do, didn't say. The bigger the charge, the more of YOUR light is trapped there.

And only YOU can release it. Bummer. Continue reading "The invisible dynamic: resentment: Your Blessings are Trapped… Want Them? Go Get ‘Em"

A Wretched Quote or what is the ultimate evil?

desire for the self aloneWretched = (of a person) in a very unhappy or unfortunate state.
“It's not enough that I should succeed -- others should fail.” David Merrick

or how to be wretched, be on the competitive plane and be miserable, succeed or fail... Desire for the self alone

According to Kabbalah, the Light can give you anything, as long as it doesn't already belong to someone... The Light will not take away something from someone to give it to YOU.

Context, Mindset, Backdrop… why should you care?

Context, Mindset, Backdrop... why should you care?

This is going to be a mind-bender, and at the end of it you'll come up a lot smarter, and with a lot more power over your life... interested?

It is all about mindset! Context is decisive... and what the heck is a backdrop?

Let's start with backdrop. Why? Because it's the easiest to see what's going on.

I say that the backdrop is more important than what happens in the foreground.

  • Someone says something to you and you are hurt.
  • Your boss assigns someone else to an important assignment.
  • Your experiment at making money with your first product is a flop.
  • You continually have trouble and emergency in your life.

The above statements are the foreground.

Depending on your mental attitude (mindset) you say it's bad, or it's good, or you have no opinion.

So far so good... are you still with me? Good. Continue reading "Context, Mindset, Backdrop… why should you care?"

Do You Feel Stuck?

Do you feel stuck? Are you trying to do everything but you still are stuck at the miserable place instead of where you are your best?

If so, you are not alone.

One of my clients used to be in constant survival.

He could see that he wasn't doing what he really wanted to do with his life.

He knew he loved to learn. He knew he loved to be in conversations about deep issues where he could distinguish, for himself and another what they were looking at, deeply, precisely and in a way that it altered life. He loved that.

And he loved teaching.

These were the activities he loved to do, and he hoped that people would, at some point, pay for it. Continue reading "Do You Feel Stuck?"
