There is always more East to go… before you get there

There is always more East to go…

No matter how close I get to the absolute core of things, there is always more to the core.

Frustrating. More for you than for me.

Because what seems like a ‘silver bullet‘ doesn’t work for everyone.

I hate to think that what something doesn’t work for some people, it may be my fault. You would too… of that I am certain. Continue reading “There is always more East to go… before you get there”

What is it like to pull your anchor-to-doom the new way?

anchor to doomPulling your anchor to doom the new way is a profound experience. Life changing. For the client, and often for me.

So what is the new way?

The old way focused on emotions. But because all emotions arise as the consequence of words, words that give the backdrop, the attitude, it is more productive to look through the words, and the words that say what you want particularly.

So that is the new way, looking through the words of what you WANT… Continue reading “What is it like to pull your anchor-to-doom the new way?”

-Seeing what you cannot see. Seeing what’s worth seeing

Most of what is there to see can’t be seen neither in the small picture, nor does it match what is already approved to see in the culture.

When I look what kinds of fiction, what kinds of stuff attracts people nowadays, I find that the most popular genre is the kind of fiction where evil almost wins. Almost. Continue reading “-Seeing what you cannot see. Seeing what’s worth seeing”

My first ever webinar in 2009 on getting unstuck

Life is like a spiral staircase… Every problem, every issue will come back to be addressed on a hopefully higher level…

Like getting unstuck.

I once read a story about Gandhi. A woman came to him with his child. He asked Gandhi to tell the child that eating sugar is bad for him. Continue reading “My first ever webinar in 2009 on getting unstuck”

A Healthy Man Wants a Thousand Things, a sick man…

A Healthy Man Wants a Thousand Things; a Sick Man Only Wants One

If you feel imprisoned, you want freedom…

But if you don’t feel it, even though you are imprisoned, you’ll want many things. And won’t even think of wanting freedom. Continue reading “A Healthy Man Wants a Thousand Things, a sick man…”

What is your real self? Where is your real self?

in-search-of-selfEveryone, even the most shallow people, wonder who they are. Really.

By the time you are out of high school you have a constructed identity, but it is neither you, nor it makes you happy. But it may make it bearable to be with other people who don’t know who they are, who live out a script that is either compatible with yours or not. Continue reading “What is your real self? Ugly is rising. Retain your good in this new environment?

If you give it enough time, the ugly, the ugly in people will feel safe and it will come out to show itself.

I spent some time this morning looking at the British royals and their soul correction.

Why them? They are highly visible. And as such, I can check some of the earlier analyses of dominant behaviors and urges of different soul corrections. Continue reading “Ugly is rising. Retain your good in this new environment?”

Life is best lead as a series of projects. Like a cheetah

One of my teachers, Sean teaches that instead of starting a business is start a project, not a business.

But most people don’t know diddly squat about building, creating a project.

They know goal setting… daydreaming… wishing, wanting, etc.

But projects? Continue reading “Life is best lead as a series of projects. Like a cheetah”

What do your human predatory genes do? Make you do…

coyotes and predatory genesWhat do your predatory genes do? judging from what happens when some are turned off, and some are turned on?

Some things in reality are outside of our direct knowledge. but we can still glean an insight by observing what happens when we tweak them, turn them off, turn them on.

One of the most memorable things I have ever read was in a book The Terminal Man. In the beginning, scientists want to find out what area of the brain is responsible for certain behaviors, certain memories… Continue reading “What do your human predatory genes do? Make you do…”

How wanting is the root of misery, not hate, money, or wars

An interesting result from the ‘one emotion to rule them all‘ article is this:

when you use your energy, when you downgrade your drive to be satisfied with instant gratification, what is easy, it is like you feed it junk food.

An aside: Most of what you eat is junk food, by the way. Unless the food leaves you energized, not hungry for at least four hours, it was junk food. Probably the least junky food is your breakfast… Continue reading “How wanting is the root of misery, not hate, money, or wars”
