Powerful Debriefing: How to be a winner regardless of your successes or failures

powerful debriefingOne of the major differences between winners and losers; winners have the ability to look at reality, and look long enough so all the filters get revealed and you actually see things for what they are.

Another difference between winners and losers is that winners love setbacks, love failures, maybe even more than success. Losers love success and hate failures, or setbacks.

Being a winner or a loser is a WHO issue: it is not a WHAT issue, not a circumstantial, horizontal plane phenomenon: it is who you are.

Why bother… it’ll never change. Hopeful or hopeless, both are the sign of not wanting to change

hopefulHopelessness is a wind… a real nasty wind to walk into. And “Why bother… it’ll never change” is the real enemy to personal growth.

I have made a deal with Source about a decade ago, to do Source’s work. Source doesn’t have a thumb… I do..

I had been courting Source, for decades, but I was rejected.

I am a nudnik. Persistent, annoying, a gadfly… I rarely give up. The only thing I have EVER given up on was becoming a Landmark Forum Leader. It still hurts. I am the person who you kick out but he comes back through the window. You fire her and she says: you can’t fire me from MY job.

You have to kill me to stop me…

The measure of intelligence is the ability to change. ~Einstein

Species-wide, the ability to change is called adaptability. Species that can adapt survive. Species that don’t… don’t.

Adaptability as a skill refers to the ability of a person to change his actions, course or approach to doing things in order to suit a new situation. We constantly change our lifestyles because our world is changing always. … That is an example of adaptability.

But what happens if you don’t recognize that it is a new situation… when you look at everything exactly the same way as before? Then you are stuck. Continue reading “The measure of intelligence is the ability to change. ~Einstein”

Behaviors that hold you back from success

behavior icebergThere is a behavior that I used to have, and have successfully beaten.

The behavior  is the “out of sight/out of mind”, “now that I am doing something else, I don’t remember the things I have been doing, promised, supposed to do…”

The behavior of a person who cannot keep 2-3-4-5 habits going concurrently.

If they are busy looking at something, they are so busy, that their water is not energized, their food list is not honored, they don’t practice their guitar, they don’t read, nothing. Just do that one thing.

With social media, smart phones, this is getting even worse… and I didn’t think it could get any worse than it was before.

What is the cause?

Numerology, astrology, Kabbalah, Bach Flower Remedies, and other diagnostic tools

royal numerologySomeone asked about a person and his service today… So I went to google and looked.

Aiden Powers… the picture is not his likeness, so I cannot connect to the person

Royal Numerology: truth value: 10%
Kabbalistic numerology: truth value: 40%

What’s the difference?

Kabbalistic numerology was a way to penetrate the mysteries of the Universe. To find truth, to find patterns, to find guidance.

To begin with: only 60% of the Universe is knowable. And then, of that what is knowable, we only know a little bit.

Educated people, PhD’s know about 7% of what is knowable, accurately. The rest what they know is b.s.

When I find someone with higher than that 7%, I get excited… Continue reading “Numerology, astrology, Kabbalah, Bach Flower Remedies, and other diagnostic tools”

What makes you a slacker?

The smarter you fancy yourself, the stupider your behavior. The big picture of your life…

This article is slightly philosophical, I cycle through many ideas to get to a conclusion that makes a difference. You can jump to the end, to the conclusion, and we’ll know what you are… This article is about you.

Life’s way is to handle one thing at a time… make it work and keep it working. Then, when it’s working reliably, Life will start on the next thing.

Most of Life is continuing… not starting. Or modifying and continuing. Or adding and removing. But continuing… Getting better and better. Growing. Continue reading “What makes you a slacker?”

How you are trapped… your standards and ideals. Rulemaking… Wanting to succeed every step of the way

Here are a few unexpected ways you keep yourself trapped in your misery:

1. You have a standard for everything.

How it should be, how it should go, what is right and what is wrong behavior, looks, everything.

You apply these standards to measure everything and everyone… and, of course, everything and everyone falls short… including yourself.

Standards are something that you invented, or alternatively bought into. You relate to them as if they were universal and mandatory for everyone…

It is all made up. There are no standards that survive reality: these are all made up reality, not binding to everyone, maybe not even to anyone. Continue reading “How you are trapped… your standards and ideals. Rulemaking… Wanting to succeed every step of the way”

Until you know what you are REALLY MISSING… you can’t give it to yourself…

Until you know what you are REALLY MISSING… you can’t give it to yourself…

…And until you know how… knowing what you really need won’t help a bit

In fact, although I can’t find a picture to illustrate it, but if you fill in a word that doesn’t fit into a crossword puzzle… the whole puzzle will be like your life… utterly unsolvable… miserable… wretched… and in fact it is, for most people.

I could say “all people”, and it would be accurate, and would make you stop reading… so I’ll settle for “most people” to appease you.

Solving the puzzle of a human life, to get a person on the right track after decades of only achieving misery in most of life is not easy… Because the forces conspiring against it are immense, and complicated to boot. Do you ever use guidance that comes from outside of your own head? If not, you will arrive where you are heading…

train rail to change directionsDo you ever use guidance that comes from outside of your own head? If not, you will arrive where you are heading

Good, you say, but where you are heading is in the invisible, meaning it is not where you would like to go: happy ever after, but where you are, in earnest, heading.

So where are you heading? This is what this article will explore for you, with you.

So first let’s start with some invisible dynamics that you need to understand if you want to see how this works, how Newton’s laws apply here… not just in the inanimate world:

Newton’s three laws of motion may be stated as follows: Every object in a state of uniform motion will remain in that state of motion unless an external force acts on it. Force equals mass times acceleration. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

We’ll be looking how the first law applies to YOU and your life…

Buyers are liars

“Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving.”

– W.T. Purkiser

Most people claim that they want to change their lives… because truthfully, how it is now, is not much fun.

Only a tiny fragment of them will be willing.

What is the reason?

One reason is that they are lying. Habitually. And maybe, just maybe, they don’t even know it.

  • I remember the times when I had no idea what I liked and what I didn’t like.
  • I remember when the only way I knew I was hungry is because I found myself eating.
  • I remember when I didn’t know I had to go to the bathroom until I found myself there. 1

So ultimately you know what you like, what you want, who you are only from your actions. Not from what you say. Continue reading “Buyers are liars”
