Religion… what is it, what’s valid about it, and what is an enslavement device, or the “opium for the masses”

true-religionThere is religion 1 and there is religiousness. People of religion are fakes, pretenders, and not religious. 2

All religions were, originally, a world view, a world view, forever changing. As soon as more phenomenon was experienced, the more it changed. This is the true nature of knowledge.

The physical, knowable universe is about 1% of all there is. The number 1% is not the truth, it is an indication only for the vast and incomparable gap between what’s knowable and what isn’t. The proportion of the knowable and unknowable is unchanging, it’s probably the only constant in the universe.

How do we glean knowledge? Something happens. And then we explain it. From the limited perspective of the human mind. Then something else happens, that modifies what we had already known. Organic, and highly changeable.

Until… until someone decides that this is all the knowledge, and they create a dogma from it.

I made a terrifying discovery today: It is true that you create your life. But why?

you create your own life. but how?I made a terrifying discovery today. The discovery has been long time coming, but today, because the circumstances were so different, I could actually see it. This discovery will change the life of thousands! Guaranteed!

They say that you create your life. It sounds so far-fetched that most people would say: why would anyone create misery, poverty, rape, and death, right?

They never explained to me clearly enough, so I don’t even know if they know the REAL dynamic, my hunch is that maybe the first person that said it did, but not the ones that have been repeating this sentence, like parrots.

bathroom-p-trapSo, this is what happened: I was preparing to see a client when suddenly a cap from my front tooth fell into the sink and went down the drain.

I promptly called the client to stop him from coming, I wasn’t going to be toothless… just wasn’t going to be.

I caught him, and he thanked me. I found some tools, took the pipe off the bottom of the sink, found the cap, but now the sink is leaking.

What is the Self? Is it the same as the ego? Or the witness? or the Soul?

self1Here is my horoscope for this week…

Enlarge the Self

This may be the best week in a long time to practice the art of crazy wisdom. And what is crazy wisdom? Here’s how novelist Tom Robbins described it to *Shambhala Sun*: It’s “a philosophical worldview that recommends swimming against the tide, cheerfully seizing the short end of the stick, embracing insecurity, honoring paradox, courting the unexpected, celebrating the unfamiliar, shunning orthodoxy, volunteering for tasks nobody else wants or dares to do, and breaking taboos in order to destroy their power. It’s the wisdom of those who turn the tables on despair by lampooning it, and who neither seek authority nor submit to it.” And why should you do any of that weird stuff? Robbins: “To enlarge the soul, light up the brain, and liberate the spirit.”

and here is a video:

Worlds Apart: the two basic world views every world view belongs to… Part 2: Comparison

selfish-selfless-ying-yang2Like you, I want certainty. Like you, I want to be sure. Like you, I want to understand how the world works.

Why? Because we are coming from a personal world view that Life is dangerous. Or something to that effect.

shrinkingOsho has a theory that when you are born and have to suddenly and without preparation leave the safety and luxury of the womb, your first emotional response is fear. Especially if you are born in a delivery room with glaring lights, lots of noise, and someone holding you upside down and slapping your bottom to make you breathe.

L. Ron Hubbard (of Dianetics fame) adds that people talk in the delivery room, and you absorb all of it as if it were the truth about you. One of my students had a hard time getting through the birth canal, and was stuck for a while. “She is stuck…” the doctor said, and she’s been stuck ever since.

shrinking-human-safety-certaintyAnother student of mine (probably) heard in the delivery room “I can’t feel anything” and lo and behold, he can’t feel anything. Hunger, anger, love… none of it.

Now, whether that is the reason, or it is cultural, it is immaterial. You live in a world where the mood is: The world is dangerous, mistakes are bad, you need to know, and therefore you are incessantly looking for a safer way to live.

In that environment, you “buy” anything that sounds like an explanation to all the strange things you hear or feel. You follow anyone “who has the answer.” You follow religions, gurus, teachers, you become vegetarian, fruitarian, anything to avoid the uncertainty of life, i.e. life itself.

You are like the ostrich that hides his head in the sand to avoid confronting life.

Worlds Apart: the two basic world views every world view belongs to… Part 1: Dolores Cannon review

dolores cannon beyond abductionI have a funny inner GPS, and yesterday it spoke funny. I was sitting in front of my computer minding my own business. Then I suddenly had this think little voice from inside plead: “Please just tell me what to do… and I’ll do it.”

I sat motionless for a long time. I have never heard a voice from inside me be so meek, so moocher-like, so pleading. Ever. It was so not-like-me, that I considered that it may be real.

I contemplated to write an article about it. But before I’d do it, I decided to run it by my trusted Activate Divinity class, to get a perspective on it. It is like WTF is happening to me?

The class, judging from the silence and the emotional response, was very familiar with the voice and the feeling. This is what they hear all the time. Hm.

I muscle tested and it wasn’t my voice. 1

Anyway, later in the day I got an email from a student with a link: “go listen to this interview, she says exactly what you say…” So, uncharacteristically, I did go and did listen to the interview.

The Nature of Reality: Glimpses, reality, filters: why is the world the way world is… different for different people?

the nature of realityI had a rare glimpse at the nature of reality today.

It’s been happening quite some time, but I could never catch the why of it…

Imagine the scenario: you are playing a card game with 52 cards. No one is there to move the cards, just you, and you don’t cheat.

You get to a point where you are clear that you lost the game. So you go and make yourself a cup of tea, go to the bathroom, answer the phone… whatever.

About 10 minutes later you come back and look at the game. Before you close it, you just want to look at it again. And miracle: you suddenly see a way that, in three more steps, instead of losing, you’ll win this game.

You suspect divine intervention. You suspect miracle… but what happened, really? What is the “real” nature of reality?

Ever since I started to run the Harmonize Your Vibration audio in the background, I’ve been having miracles like this happen, several times a day… but this time I caught the “what happened” part, for the first time.

I caught the thoughts “it’s impossible…” and “I can’t…”

Choice: Do you really choose everything that happens in your life?

Modigliani: did he have a choice?Choice

We are told that we have free will. We are told that we have free choice. But we are never told what that means, so we are left with a childish or adolescent view of what we can and can’t do, what we have the power to do or not.

The childish/adolescent view is that it means that you have a license to do anything you wish, or refuse to do anything you wish.

Licentiousness is what makes government and police and laws necessary, the widespread view is that you are free to do anything, just don’t get caught.

This is now what free will or free choice implies, and this is how humanity lives today, bemoaning the fact that they were duped and there are boundaries, and other people that complain, or exercise their license to take yours… look at yourself instead.

If my hunches don’t lie, you would do the same thing if you had the courage… but you have chosen to be sheep, oh well.

If you don’t get it… If they don’t get it. A movie to the rescue: demonstrating paradigms

I have been talking, talking, and I don’t think I am being gotten.

I make people raise their hands on calls when they got what I said, and I can feel that they are lying, some of them, when they raise their hands.

Why? Because getting it something is not the same as memorizing it.

So here is am, 720 articles and 50 weeks worth of webinars later. And as usual, I am playing freecell. Suddenly images from a movie I saw a few months ago start coming up in my mind. Bubbling up.

almost famous movie The movie is “Almost famous” and all the scenes star the actress of Fargo fame: Frances McDormand.

She is one of my favorite actresses. Why? Because her capacity to not give a hoot at how ridiculous she looks or sounds is so endearing, so empowering to me, I get courage and power for myself to look ridiculous and not care.

In this movie she goes beyond. And this is what this article is about.

I am not going to tell you the movie: I want you to watch it. But I’ll tell one piece: through her character, exasperating as it is, I have a clearer picture, suddenly, or where the people that are not getting it are.

Some of those people are my students. One of them has been with me since 2007, another one since mid-last year.

How Humanity Fell Out Of Harmony With The Universe? The Re-Interpretation of the Original Sin

the tree of knowledge is the rulebook of right and wrong in the eyes of others. it is the precise breaking point between god and humanityThe Harmony of the Universe… and human race that blocks the flow

The Universe, as we call it, (all existence, all-of-it, are other possible names for it) is an incredible harmonious flow, from the tiniest part to the largest part, all flowing, all moving, ever changing.

Originally this included the species we call humans. Until something went wrong, and instead of consciousness, humans started demonstrating self-consciousness.

My story is, my interpretation of the biblical story of the Original Sin, sounds slightly different from the current Christian, or even Jewish interpretation.

The question that no one debated until now, I think, is:

What did the serpent say to Eve?

Was it really about some apple, some tree?

I say, No. I say, the serpent said: Aren’t you embarrassed to be seen naked? Aren’t you embarrassed to show your privates uncovered? 1

Those two questions were the dividing line between humans being in the flow of the Universe and being a disruption to the flow of the Universe.

Those two questions created self-consciousness, and started to kill self-awareness, and even consciousness.

Before that event life was wonderful, life was to live, life was to rejoice, to create, to move with the flow.

From that point on life was about rules. Life was about fitting in, being well thought of, being smarter than another, competition, killing, stealing, dominating, tormenting, owning, gaining power over, who has the biggest “you know what”.

This is the reality we live in.
