Andy Shaw’s Bug free mind… The good, the bad, and the ugly.

The bad:
The biggest flaw of Andy Shaw’s work is it’s starting point.
Andy Shaw considers the mind important: He holds, that if you can change your mind you can change everything.
Not so. The mind isn’t the problem.

Even if you could change your mind, change the content in your mind, nothing would change.

The determinant of your actions, your attitude, your moods, your feelings is NOT the mind, but your being.

Develop your Awareness, your conscious awareness

Awareness , when it is in the context of raising your vibration, is an inner awareness, awareness of what lies below the surface, maybe even several layers deep. But to develop awareness, we need to start real close to the surface, and maybe even outside of it… a little bit.

Awareness of your insides is developed through practices in focusing your attention on the details of your emotional responses and your attitudes. You can’t learn anything about yourself, your insides, from others, or from a book: you can only be guided where to look, how to look, but what you will see is what you will see… no telling.

Osho on Knowledge and Knowing

ASCENDING TO THE HIGH SEAT, DOGEN ZENJI SAID: “ZEN MASTER HOGEN STUDIED WITH KEISHIN ZENJI.
ONCE KEISHIN ZENJI ASKED HIM, JOZA, WHERE DO YOU GO?’
HOGEN SAID. ‘I AM MAKING PILGRIMAGE AIMLESSLY.’
KEISHIN SAID, ‘WHAT IS THE MATTER OF YOUR PILGRIMAGE?’
HOGEN SAID, ‘I DON’T KNOW.’
KEISHIN SAID, ‘NOT KNOWING IS THE MOST INTIMATE.’
HOGEN SUDDENLY ATTAINED GREAT ENLIGHTENMENT.”
ZEN IS JUST ZEN. There is nothing comparable to it. It is unique — unique in the sense that it is the most ordinary and yet the most extraordinary phenomenon that has happened to human consciousness. It is the most ordinary because it does not believe in knowledge, it does not believe in mind. It is not a philosophy, not a religion either. It is the acceptance of the ordinary existence with a total heart, with one’s total being, not desiring some other world, supra-mundane, supra-mental.

What goal should you set? A goal is a result achieved by a certain time…

A friend of mine asked for help in setting a goal. It wasn’t that he was interested in accomplishment. Really, he wanted to look like he was… Appearances.

Why am I so hard on him? I’ve known him for four-five years, and he hasn’t done anything, hasn’t accomplished anything.

He started a lot of things, talked about starting even more, but never actually took anything near a place where it would have worked, where it would have been either a failure or success.

Activate the body, feelings, so you can reduce the time you spend in the unproductive mind.

The bug free mind book is a great vehicle to take you to a place of power, freedom, and self-expression, but only if your relationship to it is through your body, not through your understanding.

A reader asked:

I have trouble understanding why you see A Bug Free Mind as valuable if 90% is rubbish and Andy is only 195 vibration.

What’s poisoning your life? What’s poisoning your mind?

One of my favorite readers wrote: When I read this: “but there is no book or course available anywhere that asks you to look at what is poisoning your mind and being, what keeps you out of the present moment, what is sucking you dry anywhere…..”, I thought of the book you wanted to write. I thought that maybe you could have a book that addresses this subject, but in your style.

Judgment: What is judgment? what is it really? The whole picture…

Judgment

Update: When we are on a lower level of consciousness, we think it is all about us. What we do, what other people say, our results… everything. So our “self” is always in danger of falling off its pedestal, and we feel that with it we die.

The reason: we can’t tell, we don’t even think, that we and our actions are not the same. We can’t see that we do something, and the results of those actions don’t change who we are… there is no real connection. The results are the results, you are you, no connection.

More on magic

As I said in my last article, life is drab, drudgery, boring, and meaningless… unless you blow magic dust over it.

Here are a few examples that illustrate the principle of magic:

I am using pictures with a well-known story to illustrate the point…

A few years ago I asked my little brother to look at some pictures I was putting on a gallery. His feedback to me was… “What?! just pictures!?!?!?”

That really made me think. An ordinary person, like my brother, without a context, without a story only sees the drab, the mundane, the boring, the ordinary.

Reader questions about archetypes, manifestation, and persistent blockages, Andy Shaw’s Bug Free Mind…

I was thinking of making this an article, but I think, as a question and answer type of post it will work better…

I am sure after reading this, you will have plenty of questions. Please post them in the comment section of this post: that way I can answer many readers all at once. Thank you. PS: Important: Read the summary at the end about the bug free mind, the good, the bad, and the ugly!
Question #1: So, I have been observing my thoughts and emotions as they come up just like you mentioned and I am learning to surrender to everything, including negativity.
I have heard that surrendering to negativity involves feeling the emotion in its full form instead of trying to suppress them.
When you feel an emotion of sadness and start to have some tears instead of suppressing them, are you doing it right?
Because at the same time, I do not want to be giving energy to these negativity and hence manifesting them so yeah…
