You can change your past. Much like in the movie trilogy, Back to the future, you can change your present that way.

Some 24 years ago, (I have told you I’ve been at this transformation thing for a long time, l.o.l.) I created and ran a group that was called: “Playground: it is never too late to have a happy childhood”

I was especially attracted to that title, because my childhood was really crummy, and I hoped that it was going to work for me.

Though it didn’t do much for me, it did a whole lot for the participants. When Does Tithing Activate The Law Of Attraction?

Now, why does this issue come up, and why now?

I have a client who asked this question, and because he has given me an opportunity to think this over, maybe even channel a little bit of knowledge, here is what I have come up with so far:

Tithing requires you to give from the seed level of vibration of gratitude. From that frequency you can activate value exchange. A value exchange, from a place of equal values changing hands, not from a place of being a bottomless pit in need, asking for handout, asking for more than you can give back.1 What does that mean? Tithing is a kind of thank-you, appreciation (acknowledging value) expressed on the level of gratitude.2

So when people ask: what is the vibrational frequency of money, they really should say: what is the vibrational frequency of equal trade? I give you this and you give me that, and we are both winners.

The Law of Giving (I made the name up!) says that you are only allowed to give if what you get in return is the same emotional value, in the form of feeling good about yourself, etc. You are not allowed to give because someone needs it. You are not allowed to give because you are ordered to give. Giving needs to be voluntary, volitional, and SELFish. Everything else is an abomination, designed to rule you, to turn you into a sheep, a non-thinking zombie to perform acts for someone else’s benefit, but none for your own. It is against nature and therefore unnatural. []

You Can Beat Depression… if you recognize it as depression

I found this article when I searched for the phrase “beat depression.”

Many of us are depressed. Depression can be low-grade or raging… I am most interested in the low-grade depression, it is easier to beat depression that is low-grade without medication.

The writer of this article uses valid arguments for self-management, but misses a lot of factors, like what did he do, exactly, that allowed him to beat depression to begin with.

He says he took responsibility for his feeling down and out, ad he kicked the medications… so far so good.

But what he isn’t saying is that depression is a sign of something.

What is it a sign of? In my experience, as a once depressed person (for 40 years!) I have noticed a few common characteristics with my coaching clients.

  1. I lacked desire.
  2. I was not happy with myself
  3. I could not see myself clearly doing what I thought I wanted to do… the picture was there like fuzzy patches, but not like a movie.

So, how do you get out of these three interconnected and synergistic (negatively) states of mind?

I think that the easiest is to start with number 2.

Why? Because it is easier go get happy(er) with yourself, especially because you need energy for the other two, and having a good feeling about yourself will give you energy.

What’s your purpose in life?

What’s your purpose in life?

I hear this question and derivations like “what’s my purpose in life?” “What was I meant to do with my life?” etc.

We, human beings, want to do the right thing. It feels that if we did that, then all ADD, all restlessness, all depression, all jumping-around and inconsistent behavior would disappear.

your purpose in lifeWe would joyfully do what we are meant to do, finish what we start, jump our of bed with eagerness, right?

Only if we just could find the one thing we are supposed to do. Be certain, stop doubting ourselves, settle down…

Now, though this is almost the truth, it is not the whole truth, and there is also a lie hidden in its midst.
