The Anatomy Of Guidance: Ask For Guidance And Get The Guidance. Bagdad Cafe

spiritual guidance not liquor guidanceGuidance: How to Ask And Get Guidance

I have been asking for guidance, ever since I discovered that I can.

According to Kabbalah, an 6000-year body of knowledge, the mistake I need to correct in this lifetime is thinking and behaving like there is nothing and no one who can know better than me.

My life had been, before my discovery, an exact match to that behavior, not very attractive, is it? Continue reading “The Anatomy Of Guidance: Ask For Guidance And Get The Guidance. Bagdad Cafe”

The 9/11 of Japan, desire to receive for the self alone, A Spiritual Interpretation

End Of Times, The Earthquake, The Tsunami, The Nuclear Threat, Hydrogen Peroxide, desire to receive for the self alone, A Spiritual Interpretation

earthquake in japanWhy did the earthquake in Japan happen, what about the tsunami and the threat of radiation from the nuclear plant, desire to receive for the self alone? A spiritual interpretation

There are two major attitudes that “humanity” uses to look at an event. Both are desire to receive for the self alone.

1. personal. the question is asked? why me? how did I deserve this? or “father, why did you forsake me?”
2. global i.e. not personal. The tone is blame and “there is nothing I can do about it” “I am not at fault” and the like.

Both attitudes are faulty and driven by ego and a profound misunderstanding of how it all works.

1. On the personal level, though there is karma, there is cause and effect, the cause is so far removed (decades, often lifetimes) that the connection is hard if not impossible to see. Continue reading “The 9/11 of Japan, desire to receive for the self alone, A Spiritual Interpretation”

How To proactively beat the top regrets of the dying? Part 2

top regrets of the dyingHow To proactively beat the top regrets of the dying?

Yesterday I gave you an exercise to imagine yourself on your deathbed.
Many people get all emotional about that: so it may not have worked for you. I love that exercise, but here is another one:

Imagine that you are on the riverside fishing. You see that the line is tout, the rod is trembling, so you do what fishermen do, and you pull out a fish.

As you take the hook out of the fish’s mouth the fish starts to talk. It says: My good man (or woman, if you are a woman), please release me back into the water and I will reward you handsomely: I will fulfill three wishes for you.

You are surprised, you question your sanity for a little bit, so you throw the fish back, after all any wish should be more valuable than the 3-4 bucks this fish is worth when you cook it. Continue reading “How To proactively beat the top regrets of the dying? Part 2”

Top Five Regrets of the Dying and how to beat them

regrets of the dyingTop Five Regrets of the Dying and how to beat them

  • 1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
  • 2. I wish I didn’t work so hard.
  • 3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.
  • 4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
  • 5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

These are the top five regrets of the dying, and here is how to beat having these regrets, or any other

I have read articles about dying and I have read poems written by old-old people expressing their regrets. They are in death’s anteroom, and the view of their life and themselves is special from there: they are to the side and slightly elevated position from where they can both feel and see. Good, Better, Best Vibration: everything vibrates, including conspiracy theories, even if they are true

vibration1 My notes on vibration:

I found this article on the internet on vibration, and thought if fitted into my blog, so I am reprinting with full reference to the author.

I want you to read it and pay attention to something important: Although every word he says is true, and high-minded, there is still an underlying blaming, and the vibration of victimhood, a certain impotence that permeates this article and the people I speak to when they speak of a conspiracy.

Now, why would I not want you to be upset, angry, hostile while you are talking about something as evil as reducing you to sheep, or beeing fleeced? Why on earth would I advise that you don’t go there? Did I go crazy?

Not quite. You see, your vibration is your key to what life brings you, to the level of happiness you have, the level of self-respect, and value in your own eyes.

Now, though, on the surface it seems to your untrained brain that being upset about an injustice should make sense to you, it does not. It robs you of everything you ever wanted, including peace of mind, self-respect, self-esteem and the joy of life. What do you think of someone who impotently throws their way about something that they have no power to do anything, or they are not willing to do anything? You despise them, right? So if you are that person: even worse… so don’t do it.

It is worth reading for many reasons, but most importantly to train your ears of the vibration of the speaker: truth spoken takes on the vibration of the carrier: and it always lowers the vibration of the truth. Got New Years Resolutions?

new years resolutionsWhen you can’t seem to attain your new years resolutions…

When you have a hammer, everything looks like a nail1

I have a better “hammer” for you: it has worked for my multi-millionaire mentor, it will work for you.2

What to do when all you know fails you? When the hammers don’t work, and you can’t seem to attain your goals?

I was on a radio show today. I was the “minor” guest, and as such, I did not prepare: I wanted to stay present to the conversation the “major” guest had with the radio host, so I can add my 2 cents worth, instead of taking the show to a different place. 1. Law of the instrument, From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The concept known as the law of the instrument, Maslow’s hammer, or a golden hammer is an over-reliance on a familiar tool; as Abraham Maslow said in 1966, “It is tempting, if the only tool you have is a hammer, to treat everything as if it were a nail. []

  2. decades ago, when T. Harv Eker was a young man with entrepreneurial spirit, everything he touched turned into s-h-i-t, until a millionaire friend of his father gave him this advice:
If something is not working in your life, there is something that you don’t know []
