Are you living to survive or are you in a quest for a life worth living? Who are your guides?

Stalin should have learned from his cat alter-ego guidesAre you living to survive or are you in a quest for a life worth living? Who are your guides?

This article is about guidance. Not about how you find it, but who to listen to. How to pick your guides… Who to listent to, what to listen to.

What gives you your life depends more on the people you listen to than anything else.

If you want to find out where your life is heading, look closely at the different aspects of your closest guides, TV, gurus, emails, books, movies, friends, co-workers (gossip) and make a note how they live in the main areas of life: fulfillment (vocation), health (physical, mental and spiritual), connections (relationships), and being rewarded and valued (finances).

Your life’s trajectory (that means trend, or direction) is going to be a weighted average of these guides’ life trajectory… More time with the news… the lower it all goes in all areas. More time with high vibration people, the higher it goes, at least in the areas where they are highly vibrating. The more materialistic and forceful your guides, the more forceful, stressful, and the less satisfying your life will become. Junctures, Paradigm Jumping, It Is Never Too Late To Have A Happy Childhood, Choices

choicesChoices: It Is Never Too Late To Have A Happy Childhood

You can change your past. Much like in the movie trilogy, Back to the future, you can change your present that way.

Some 24 years ago, (I have told you I’ve been at this transformation thing for a long time, l.o.l.) I created and ran a group that was called: “Playground: it is never too late to have a happy childhood”

I was especially attracted to that title, because my childhood was really crummy, and I hoped that it was going to work for me.

Though it didn’t do much for me, it did a whole lot for the participants. Wholly unpredictable changes occurred: I didn’t have any explanation for what happened, but people transformed in front of my very eyes, turned from bitter into sweet and accommodating, two of the group miraculously cured from their impotence, got married, etc. etc. Continue reading “Junctures, Paradigm Jumping, It Is Never Too Late To Have A Happy Childhood, Choices”

What shall I do with my negativity?

I hate your negativityWhat shall I do with my negativity?

Most people ask me what they should do about other people’s negativity… but ultimately you can’t change anything there, you can only change yourself.

So, what can you do with your negativity?

There are permanent and temporary solutions. But even if you do permanent solutions, you will need to maintain mental hygiene, just like you need to wash your hands all the time, or cut your nails.

Temporary solutions work best if you have lots of discipline and are able to be self-aware close to 24/7.

negativity is like weeds

The art is catching yourself in the act of negativity, and of course to do that you need to know all the ways negativity expresses itself. It’s a lot like weeding. Weeds are stronger than cultivated plants and grow faster too. Same is the situation with negativity.

Another similarity with weeds is that you can remove the top of the weed plant, or you can remove it from its deep roots.

A few years ago I took a sabbatical, and all summer I worked on a small patch of ground that was full of weeds. Had I suspected that the weeds spread by deeps horizontal shoots on the roots, I would have probably left the whole thing alone, but I didn’t, and once I declared war on the weeds I stuck with it. It was, for me: it is either the weeds, or me! And I needed all the energy from that battle-cry! Some roots were as deep as two feet, but I got to them, and I was relentless.

Got New Years Resolutions?

new years resolutionsWhen you can’t seem to attain your new years resolutions…

When you have a hammer, everything looks like a nail ((Law of the instrument, From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The concept known as the law of the instrument, Maslow’s hammer, or a golden hammer is an over-reliance on a familiar tool; as Abraham Maslow said in 1966, “It is tempting, if the only tool you have is a hammer, to treat everything as if it were a nail.))

I have a better “hammer” for you: it has worked for my multi-millionaire mentor, it will work for you. ((decades ago, when T. Harv Eker was a young man with entrepreneurial spirit, everything he touched turned into s-h-i-t, until a millionaire friend of his father gave him this advice:
If something is not working in your life, there is something that you don’t know))

What to do when all you know fails you? When the hammers don’t work, and you can’t seem to attain your goals?

I was on a radio show today. I was the “minor” guest, and as such, I did not prepare: I wanted to stay present to the conversation the “major” guest had with the radio host, so I can add my 2 cents worth, instead of taking the show to a different place. How to raise your consciousness to the level of guru in 18 months?

raise your consciousness

How to raise your consciousness, wretched to guru in 18 months?

I had a conversation with a friend of mine. She is the kind of friend that is in and out of my life… she lives a dramatic life and she needs help, technical, health, money, legal… that is the basis of our relationship.

I used to be the kind of person she is, and I have compassion. She doesn’t bring me down, and I enjoy her unique view of life… she is a transgendered, was born a man, and she lives as a woman. She never changed her name… she once got kicked out of an apartment because her name said Jeffrey (not her real name.)

I was recounting to her the miraculous rise of my consciousness… and she asked what she could do to raise hers. Continue reading “How to raise your consciousness to the level of guru in 18 months?”

Context, Mindset, Backdrop… why should you care?

backdrop context mindsetContext, Mindset, Backdrop… why should you care?

This is going to be a mind-bender, and at the end of it you’ll come up a lot smarter, and with a lot more power over your life… interested?

It is all about mindset! Context is decisive… and what the heck is a backdrop?

Let’s start with backdrop. Why? Because it’s the easiest to see what’s going on.

I say that the backdrop is more important than what happens in the foreground.

Someone says something to you and you are hurt.
Your boss assigns someone else to an important assignment.
Your experiment at making money with your first product is a flop.
You continually have trouble and emergency in your life.

The above statements are the foreground.

Depending on your mental attitude (mindset) you say it’s bad, or it’s good, or you have no opinion.

So far so good… are you still with me? Good. Continue reading “Context, Mindset, Backdrop… why should you care?”

Stuck in a rut? Would you like to find your way out?

stuck in a rut?Stuck in a rut? Would you like to find your way out?

You are not alone.

My coaches, mentors, teachers, friends, and clients are stuck too, from time to time.

Take one of my teachers: she has been dealing with some downward spirals, that completely felt as something that has no solution.

Their expensive, and almost brand new RV suddenly needed major repair, and the funds weren’t there.

To add insult to injury, there started to be some legal issues, then health issues… so it looked bleak, and devastating.

In our conversation I went through a series of tools I have in my tool-box… and when I got to the question: do you know the 9-dot exercise, the light bulb went off for my teacher, and she came up with a solution that, if not solved it, made the situation bearable.

So what is this tool box, and what do the 9 dots mean? How can YOU use this to get out of a predicament, a situation that seems to have no solution:
