The Anatomy Of Guidance: Ask For Guidance And Get The Guidance. Bagdad Cafe

spiritual guidance not liquor guidanceGuidance: How to Ask And Get Guidance

I have been asking for guidance, ever since I discovered that I can.

According to Kabbalah, an 6000-year body of knowledge, the mistake I need to correct in this lifetime is thinking and behaving like there is nothing and no one who can know better than me.

My life had been, before my discovery, an exact match to that behavior, not very attractive, is it? Continue reading "The Anatomy Of Guidance: Ask For Guidance And Get The Guidance. Bagdad Cafe"

Paris In The Spring Or The Benefits Of An Empty Mind

Paris in the spring with Paris Hilton shoesParis in the spring... nice thought.

Stay with me for a moment!

I am part of a study group. We go to seminars together to learn integrity so we can live an unpredictably great life.

This past Sunday, when the sun was shining and it was the first nice-weather weekend of the year, five out of the seven members of the group forgot to call our conference line on Sunday. Paris in the spring...

The seminar leader suggested we declare a breakdown. "What's declaring a breakdown?" Asked one of the members innocently.

I volunteered to write a little essay (that is like a one-page scientific paper, lol) and sent it out to everyone. And then the s-h-i-t hit the fan. Continue reading "Paris In The Spring Or The Benefits Of An Empty Mind"

What tools can get you unstuck? Try distinctions

distinctionsIn case you're stuck - distinctions can come to save the day.

What are distinctions?

A great way to define a distinction is that it is a a property that sets it different from anything else that's alike. A lady of distinction is a lady who's not like everyone else somehow, better, more, above them.

A different way to examine distinctions is that it is a concept or occurrence or maybe even abstraction. (abstraction definition: a general quality or characteristic, apart from concrete realities, specific objects, or actual instances. )

I am going to speak about this latter manner of looking, where distinction is a concept. Continue reading "What tools can get you unstuck? Try distinctions"

When it comes to your life, Are you a race car driver or...

race car driverWhen it comes to your life, Are you a race car driver or a hop-into-the car grocery shopper

Said in another way: If Your Life Were A Car, Who Is Driving Your Life?

This article is about your relationship with your life. It is fundamental, it is at the root of you never amounting to all you can be, it is at the root of why most people can only evolve a little bit in a lifetime (many go backwards!)

Mastering this area of life is the difference between a winner and a loser, and it is so subtle, that without someone pointing it out to you, you would notice no difference.

Let's start at the beginning: in life you accomplish some stuff (right?) and don't accomplish some other stuff. You win some races, and you lose some others.

Let's call all the stuff that you get done an accomplishment, and all the stuff that you don't (but would like to have done) stuff that you don't accomplish. OK? Continue reading "When it comes to your life, Are you a race car driver or..."

The boy in striped pajamas - propaganda for what?

the boy in the striped pajamasThe boy in striped pajamas... I must be off my rockers, right?

If you have been reading my articles for any length of time, you know that movies are a fertile ground for me to see stuff about myself, about the nature of ego, etc.

This article I am going to write about The boy in the striped pajamas

Why? I trust my inner voice, and my inner voice has been doing two things today: made me sing the "Amazing Grace" and ponder about the ending of that movie.

So, what's up with that movie? Great title, eh, the boy in striped pajamas, who would not want to watch that?!

Ever since I read the Ayn Rand book, Atlas Shrugged, my eyes have opened, and see things I didn't consciously see before. Continue reading "The boy in striped pajamas - propaganda for what?"

Reprogramming Your Mind For Peace, Happiness, Achievement, and More

reprogramming your mindReprogramming Your Mind

Huh? Reprogramming? For what? Why? How?

The biggest issues I encounter in my practice is the monkey mind. The noise. The morass.

What am I talking about? I am talking about a busy mind, stuck in constant chatter, and unable to concentrate at the task at hand. In this state, if you are like me, you are dreaming of reprogramming your mind.

Unless the task is a repetitive task, requiring no input from you, this may work, but if input is required, especially if the input needs to be creative and complex, you are screwed! Continue reading "Reprogramming Your Mind For Peace, Happiness, Achievement, and More"

More about tithing... Become a value recognizer

recognize valueMore about tithing;

In the previous article on tithing we discussed the issue whether to tithe or not to tithe.

In this article we'll look at the issue: if you want to tithe: what is the best way, what is the best place, from the point of view of your own self-interest.

The distinction I'd like to introduce here: Value recognizer, and I suggest that you become one. Why? You'll see... invaluable!

Become a value recognizer Continue reading "More about tithing... Become a value recognizer"

Do affirmations work?

affirmations Why do I keep saying that affirmations don't work?

And how about afformations? And how about subliminal suggestions, etc. etc. etc.

If affirmations worked, I would be long a millionaire. And many of the people I know, that are still struggling.

This is what I know about the development of false beliefs... and if my theory is correct, my theory proves my point.

I want to say though, before I start explaining my theory, that I have found a methodology that in the hand of the right practitioner can do miracles.

It is called Theta Healing, and it can eliminate a false belief in about 30 seconds, from the time of pinpointing it. This is what I am using now, both for myself and for my clients. Continue reading "Do affirmations work?"

Success Loves Speed

Success Loves SpeedSuccess Loves Speed... why is that? what does that look like in real life?

I have a simple tale to share, and it will become clear:

I have liked this guy for quite some time. He sounded firm, no b.s., and he left a nice comment for my blog.

I asked for his skype contact and we spoke. He sounded like someone I should do a project with. He had skills I didn't, research, finding joint venture partners, so we discussed what we could do together, and after some discussion we settled on creating a product together: he interviews me on how to measure your vibration, how to measure anything, and stuff like that. Piece of cake.

We started out, had 3 audios made, when time came for the fourth, he was away on a hockey tournament for his son. Then finally he came back. It took us a long time to remember what we had been doing. Then he took a week off to do his taxes.

By that time I had no interest in doing the interviews, I had moved on to other projects. Continue reading "Success Loves Speed"

Is One healing modality more valid than others?

healing modalityIs There Any Healing Modality More Valid Than Others? Do any of them work better?

Though it seems that the healing modality that works for you is the only modality that would work for anyone, the truth is that the modality that works for you is the right healing modality for you and for people that have an affinity to the same modality.

What do I mean by that, and what the heck is healing modality anyway?

Modality, just like when we approach learning, or self expression, has a tendency to choose us: we don't have much of a choice in them.

In learning we can be auditory, or visual, or kinesthetic: they are learning modalities. Continue reading "Is One healing modality more valid than others?"
