In the Wisdom Course I took more than 25 years ago, between Saturday and Sunday we had a homework. To write an autobiography through a filter of our choice.
The filter could be where you lived, who you live with, your love affairs, your schooling, your health, the sports you participated in… anything.
I don’t remember what filter I used then, but in this article I’ll do a little of that homework through the filter: depression.

I am getting hate mail.
I am happy about it.
They say the opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference.
So when you teach something, no echo is the worst thing that can happen to you. Being called names, cursed out: that is wonderful. You got noticed.
It means: you are being heard. It means you are making waves. But it also means that you are upsetting the apple cart. Poking holes into long held truths… and ultimately that is the job of a teacher.
The order of things is what is accepted as truth.
For the most part, the order of things contain “truths” memes, that are not true…
The current order of things has a total truth value of 4%… which means 96% of what we believe is not true.

Because 95-97% of humans live as an object in a world of objects, they can’t see you as a person. They see you as they are…
So they can’t…
In my Validation Challenge where you have only one job: as you go about your life in the world and find something to notice, something of value, in people, whether you know them or not.
When people start out in the challenge, all they can see is what they don’t like. Then occasionally they can see something they like. That is still all about them.
The also want to get a response… they want what they say to land as flattering… that is also all about them.
Eventually, some of them will start seeing some value… just because they are looking hard for something to see.
Obviously, given the limited perspective of the human mind, you can only see what you are yourself…
Done over time, hunting and finding something of value to see, people notice that their affinity for themselves, their treatment of themselves shifts… and at least occasi
Because 95-97% of humans live as an object in a world of objects, they can't see you as a person. They see you as they are...
