One of the most surprising thing in the world of humans is that humans can't tell if they are smart or not. This error leads to lives that are not fulfilled, filled with fear, trepidation, or on the other extreme: boasting and disappointment. 1
I just watched two episodes of a Korean series where most people were dimwitted.
Dimwitted is just another word for "not smart"... but it is a good word because you can see that something is dimmed... as in "it's dark here... you can't see much".
OK, that was quite a mouthful. Sorry about that...
Wherever you are in life, in any area of your life, you are in ess. In ess your actions, your ideas, your advisement will come from a "source" that wants to maintain that ess... If you are fat... then maintain being fat. If you are inactive, then maintain inactivity. If you are always engaging in bombastic dreams, then maintain that... engaging in bombastic dreams.
You create your own reality with the context. And inside that context you look at things... And the context, unless attended to, is mostly creating a reality that you don't want. But because you don't know how to create context, that is what you created. bummer, eh?
Context is decisive. And yet 99% of humans cannot wrap their minds around the context. Context is invisible... and most people can't see it. But...
The quality of your life, your life experience doesn't depend on the content, it only depends on the context. On the invisible.

If we didn't have words, we would have no emotions. All emotions come from words... some are yours, some are not...
The Amish Horse Training Method is to be able to hear all the words that create emotions... and hear them in a way, that gives you a choice to honor them or not, depending of the source of the words, the relevance of the words...
The Amish Horse Training Method returns you to the driving seat of your life...
Not surprisingly, for most students the first step towards mastery is mastering their attention. Unless you can control your attention, you are a putz... and are controlled by someone or something, but not you. And for you to be you, you need to call the shot.
The biggest issues I encounter in my practice is the monkey mind. The noise. The morass. The voices you heed.
What am I talking about? I am talking about a busy mind, stuck in constant chatter, and unable to concentrate at the task at hand. Even to hear! When you are in this state, if you are like me, you are dreaming of reprogramming your mind.
