Originally published December 12, 2011. I looked at it again, because Caroline Cory is presenting a multimedia event tonight… in NYC of all places. Reading her article on how to raise your vibration by connecting to Source made me puke…
So I retested her… and here is the original article, I only changed the vibrational numbers.

In most activities, the goal of the activity is at least two-fold.
Let’s see how it is through a few examples:
Losing weight: losing weight can come from wanting to lose weight to look better, feel better, fight off diabetes, etc. And losing weight can come from wanting to take back control of your life: live according to your will instead of your whim.
Winning a football game:
goal 1: look good, be celebrated, make lots of money
goal 2: be the best you can be at something you love
goal 3: be part of the winning team
Raising your vibration:
goal 1: feel better about yourself and your life
goal 2: have bragging rights and a sense of superiority over others
goal 3: fulfill on the divine purpose of being a human being
The following is an excerpt from the novel, The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand. It is an apt description of how evil takes over the world.
It’s long, but please read it. Read it a few times, so you can identify yourself and the ideology that got you to be miserable, empty, merely surviving. Pay special attention on how guilt plays a role in that.
Elsworth Toohey is like a spiritual figurehead, a leader, a teacher, a thought leader, like the church… Peter Keating is like you… hearing for the first time how he has sold his soul and to whom.
I am sitting here, doing work for my friend’s 15-minute fame and potential big break. Your success is measured by the number of people you made successful, I tell myself as an excuse for taking my attention off doing my own work.
My body is ravaged with strong and very unpleasant emotions. Mostly anxiety, doom, and grief.
I muscle test myself every five minutes if the feelings are mine. They are. I take my Heaven on Earth and continue working, but the bad feelings come back and take my breath away.
I catch myself wondering what it all means. Shall I stop doing the help to my friend? Shall I just run the other way? I muscle test it, and the test says “no.”
Crave it to have it, crave it to keep it. Money? love? success?
The Zohar teaches us desire is a vessel that holds the Light. The idea is attaining blessings and good fortune is not enough to keep them. We must also maintain our desire for what we already have. Not always an easy thing to do seeing as how our habit is to focus on what we don’t have. Today, get in touch with the desire you first felt when you started studying Kabbalah, or dating your husband, or working at your dream job. Crave your life!
I had something happen today that was an interesting aspect of this same thing.
