Every generation is more entitled than the previous one. Why? Let me explain...
If appreciative is the opposite of entitled... does that mean that all those people who are not appreciative are entitled?
Entitled 1 is a worldview. It is a ground-of-being phenomenon, invisible, like the floor. An unexamined truth. To you. But for the other, it is quite obvious... 2
So how do you know that you are not appreciative? that you are entitled?
This is how:
Even when you thank someone, they frown...
You may even be diligent in thanking someone, you may even feel a stab of thankfulness, but those thanks are the waves on the waters, not the bottom of the sea... The bottom of your sea is entitlement.
This article is about personal evolution... going from where, how, who you are today to a higher level, a higher organization where you can be, have, do more. 1
It's November 10, and the ground is covered with snow where I live. My hands are cold, I am contemplating putting on my typing gloves: gloves that the tip of the finger is cut off so I can type.
I started to keep my house cold in the winter a few years ago, but went all hogs with it last winter: my thermostat is set to 47 degrees (9 degrees Celsius) day and night, and I have a heating pad under my desk and a heating pad on the wall about two meters from my right shoulder on the wall in my office. I also have a heating pad in the bathroom that I turn on when I plan to take a shower.
Summary: some six thousand years ago a mind virus was introduced. It lead to the rise of a strong ruling class and a sheep-like plebs. In this article I introduce the first ever remedy to the mind virus: the Unification Energy.
You see, humans have a strong inner connection to wisdom through connecting to All-Knowledge, but the mind virus severed, blocked the connection between the part of each human that connects and the part that they consider themselves to be... the part that has the mind, the subconscious, the body, and the Ego. The part that will look for nourishment, guidance, leadership, meaning, outside: on the horizontal plane.
The Mindset book is the perfect accompaniment to the Reclaim coaching program, and the From Upset To Communication course 1 where we learn the fields inside which all of life plays out.
I have questions coming at me that shed light to misunderstanding of what this work is about. What the course is about. What the program is about.
I have asked for this type of questions. I have asked my student to share with me what they are getting, so I can see where they are off... where I was off... what it is that is misconstrued, misunderstood, or not understood in what I teach... It was a great idea, because unless I know what you got, I can't help you.
It won't be easy to share it, so please advance to me some compassion: I am walking on some uncharted territories.
1. You may feel, together with some of my students, that it is all about removing the upset, removing the disagreements, removing all confrontation, including how hard, how difficult it is to do something.
Warning: without the concept in this article, you can read 100 books, take 100 seminars, and they will not matter... chances are you have never heard about this concept.
In this article I am writing about a little known aspect of life... I couldn't even find pictures for it... Using a gardening analogy, what kind of soil are you? A seed that would grow best in acidic soil gets stunted or killed in alkaline soil. A seed that grows best in a loamy loose soil will suffocate in a dense soil with a lot of clay in it. Other soils will rot every seed you put in them...
You are that soil to any input. The seeds either grow in you and become full grown plants or die...
Tons of people come to my site to read my valuation of many gurus' vibration. When they are done, they choose... How they choose, what they choose says everything about them, not about the guru, not about the method, not about the modality... but about them.
It tells ME what life-philosophy they subscribe to, by what ideology they live their lives. And also how happy they are...
Some ideologies are life affirming, others aren't.
It is puzzling to watch people not taking any actions that would make a lot of sense for them to take. They will cling, tooth and nail, to some status quo that only they see: it seems that they don't want to find out that they can, and they don't want to find out that they can't.
This relegates them into the status of has-been, or never-been. You can't hold onto anything, because anything that isn't growing is dying. And you can't become something more without growing.
