You wave your magic wand, and bada bing bada bang, a little magic dust, and you have a miracle.
Or you take a little pill, and you wake up beautiful, slim, sexy, and rich.
Or you pray that God gives you a miracle
Or you meditate
Or you buy that get-rich-quick scheme that promises overnight money with no work at all
Or you play it over and over in the theater of your mind… You feel it… you appreciate everything… still…
But all these don’t cause a miracle.
No matter how skillfully you wave the wand, or how fancy (and expensive) the little pill is, how passionately you pray… etc. etc. etc.
No. none of them work.

I bought the 67 steps program at the beginning of February last year. I have averaged 5-6 steps a week.
This week I answered two questions that I have probably been asked nine times before… and a whole new reality opened up for me.
I’ll tell you specifically what the questions and my answers were in a little bit, but first I’d like to look at this whole phenomenon of not hearing what we don’t hear.
You may never have experienced this, because you either didn’t repeat something frequently enough, or you are sleepwalking.
There is such a thing as top of the mind awareness.
What you hear. What you notice. About 10% of what is there. What is said. What you read. What you see.
The rest… as if it didn’t exist.

It’s not hidden. It is just not obvious to the untrained eyes. What your eyes need is training and guidance.
My methodology, observing life through many distinctions, is a winning one.
It drives up, and makes visible what has thus far been invisible.
Racket, frame, memes, voices, states… the distinctions are all opportunities to see another aspect of the invisible, and gain control over yourself, so you can start moving in the direction of the good life, whatever good life is for you.

One of the invisible tools the memes use, the memes that keep us trapped and unable to take control of our lives is to spew “is” on us.
OK, that was a long sentence. let me see if I can reword it. The memes freeze us into a life where we have no power. It is in the wording. The freezing power comes from the wording.
We have spoken about the having to, needing to, wanting to, and should… these are a group of tools the memes use to rob us of our own power, and render us puppets.
The tool that renders us powerless to change is the improper use of “is”.
Whenever you feel you need to change, this meme tool is at work.
Whenever you point a blaming finger at yourself, at the world, or at others, this meme tool is at work.
It is under learned helplessness. It is under resignation, cynicism, and unless you learn to recognize it, you’ll fight it… like Don Quixote was fighting the windmills. No chance to win.

I had an impromptu (unplanned) conversation with a long time client yesterday. Unfortunately my recorder decided to run out of battery… so I didn’t record it.
