More on the 10 dark years theory… or why it takes so long to succeed

Most winners in life master one thing in particular: they are astute. Astute: having or showing an ability to accurately assess situations or people.

Accurately assess... as opposed to have an opinion, have a good feel, or guess...

Is that a skill, a capacity, a virtue? What is it and how do you get it?

A have a new "most visited" post, the 31 quotes that give you chills... Why? Because it promises an experience... an experience you crave in the consistently dull and painful life you have.

Wanting to get chills without any other benefits says a lot about you and your life. What does it say? For one: you are a mystery to yourself...

I have said it before... humanity bars its way to evolution by throwing big words around. Continue reading "More on the 10 dark years theory… or why it takes so long to succeed"

The Enchanted Forest, Fairy Tales, and how to start living like a person

I have one student who actually is doing the work the way the work was meant to be done.

It sounds meager... but it is all I ever wanted... really.

If you have one student who actually does what you teach, you can tell if what you teach works or not. Or tweak what you teach to accommodate the difficulties they experience. And watch if the changes you made will make the results match what you intended to accomplish.

What do the rest of the people do? I mean the students in the same program? I am not sure. Apple polishing? Feeble attempts to fake me?

Humans live this fake, apple polishing lives, thinking that life should respond to their feeble attempts, to their intention, to their desire, or whatever the heck they were taught should change reality to what they want reality to be.

This, humanity, humans, include the millions of writers who dish out advice... Continue reading "The Enchanted Forest, Fairy Tales, and how to start living like a person"

How Actual Smart People Talk About Themselves

This is an article from The Atlantic... Hint: not by discussing IQ The I here is James Fallows... although I tend to agree with him. this is a companion article to my previous article on self-esteem...

If you just want to know what people who are actually smart think of themselves... talk about themselves, jump there...
by James Fallows Jan 6, 2018 Science

I've never met or interviewed Donald Trump, though like most of the world I feel amply exposed to his outlooks and styles of expression. So I can't say whether, in person, he somehow conveys the edge, the sparkle, the ability to connect, the layers of meaning that we usually associate with both emotional and analytical intelligence.

But I have had the chance over the years to meet and interview a large sampling of people whom the world views the way Trump views himself. That is, according to this morning's dispatches, as "like, really re," and "genius." Continue reading "How Actual Smart People Talk About Themselves"

How old is your child self that is running your life to the ground?

What is an adult, what is a child... and does your ego-state (Child, Parent, Adult) influence how much money you have, how much love you have, how healthy you are? 1

In the starting point measurements I measure (#19) To what degree you have access to your adult capacities. 2 or asked in another way, how much does your adult run your life? The more adult the more results...

And how much is the child running your life, how much is it running your life to the ground?

The grass doesn’t grow where you walk… does that make you special?

1. I think it was in 1991.

A manager of mine in Landmark said: you don't make a difference.

My answer was: then I must kill myself...

I was banned from participating for about 8 months. By that time the manager and everyone have forgotten the interaction.

It was significant to me, and not significant to them.

Today, I got that I was just one of most, including themselves, who didn't make a difference.

It sounds bad, doesn't it? Very bad indeed. From one vantage point. Continue reading "The grass doesn’t grow where you walk… does that make you special?"

Returning to the fork in the road where you took a wrong turn

If you find yourself on the wrong road... trace your way back to where you went astray... and choose a different road.

Why? Because trying to go across to where you really wanted to go, without going back,  is fraught with death traps.

Humanity, some seven thousand years ago, took a wrong turn. In just a few words: they started to replace reality with word pictures in the mind. Concepts.

This took us to where we are now: not a pretty place. Any and every human is afflicted: no one is exempt.

An "avatar's" job is to take you backwards so you can find your way from there... They have to have earned the right... by going back personally, backtracking themselves.

Most teachers try to cut across... oh the Buddhist, oh the Zen, oh the blah blah... they must know what they are talking about... b.s.

Maybe they know, maybe they don't. But you haven't done the journey back, so you are a second-hander at best, so shut the f... up!

Why do you choose the shotgun method that doesn’t work, while you know that the process method works?

I am reading this guy's book. I say "this guy" because I don't want you to read it. I want you to read my blog...

In a lot of ways he and I teach the same things, even though we use different words. He uses words from psychology and woowoo science... I use words like Amish Horse Training Method, Memes, Marker Feelings.

He is a money/marketing man. His vibration is 200, his accurate vocabulary is 600.

He is proof that you don't have to have a very high vibration to be able to look from high enough so you see enough to make millions and even teach others to make millions. Continue reading "Why do you choose the shotgun method that doesn’t work, while you know that the process method works?"

What is the truth about the 10 dark years, 10,000 hours and 10,000 experiments

If investing 10 years in service of learning a profession, learning an art would make you a winner... then there would be a lot of winners. A lot more than there are...

There must be something more that most people don't know or don't do...

...and neither do or know their mentors, their trainers, their managers, their teachers. 1

Capacities, DNA capacities are invisible. They are the seed level of any ability, of any success.

What is the negative energy you are trying to eliminate? The energy that blocks you?

Before i say anything else, all the illustrations about negative energy, negativity I use in this post are b.s. and harmful... The Hungarian Christmas pictures... I remember being a child...

Yesterday I was on a group coaching call where a so-called energy practitioner 1 got some marketing advice while others, including me, listened in.

She was discussing her marketing to sell her almost a thousand dollar course on clearing negative energy.

I have to admit that I have never sold a course for that much money. Never even thought I could. Never even thought it would be fair...

I spent the day after that call not wanting to do anything. Not even walk... lol. That is so rare, it is worth mentioning.

I slept well, I am taping my mouth shut again and I sleep a lot better.

I woke up somewhat revitalized and invigorated... = revigorated.

What do I mean revigorated?

Your first sign of getting dead is having less or no question. Continue reading "What is the negative energy you are trying to eliminate? The energy that blocks you?"

You can’t become extraordinary if you live an ordinary life

I am getting a lot of requests to teach people how to become people who live a life worth living, who excel in all four areas, all four pillars of the good life.

My answer is almost always: Sorry I can't help you.

But why?

Today I got lucky and got my answer in a pristine form.

My University classmate, Panni called me. We talk once a month. She is, of course an architect: we were classmates in architecture school, a five year study.

And she is a mother and a grandmother. Continue reading "You can’t become extraordinary if you live an ordinary life"
