How to live a meaningful life, find & live your life’s work

Meaningful-Life-Skills-BannerHumans are meaning making machines… and are unconscious of the fact that all meaning comes from them.

We want to know what something means, so we can be prepared for the danger or the good fortune that the meaning carries inside it.

But, alas, life is empty and meaningless… intrinsically.

No meaning.

And yet. Meaningful is something we crave… We crave the certainty, we crave the guidance meaningful would give us. Continue reading “How to live a meaningful life, find & live your life’s work”

Soul Correction: How do you do it?

life-blockedSoul correction is the pivoting point, the fulcrum around which a person can go from gene driven to someone who can become, potentially, an expanding human being.

Said in another way, each person has a particular and typical to their soul correction way that is stuck in a lower way of being.

The most frequent question I hear: how do you fix it? or as one my students said it: “this whole thing turns a lot of corners. I’m not sure i can even recognize all the ways i use it. Nor how to climb out of it.”

The answer will surprise you: The moment you are trying to “climb out of it” or “fix it”… you enter a world of pretense.

Both climbing out and fixing are the genes’ way of pulling the wool over your eyes. To push back the hidden deeper into the invisible.

I looked what is more important to me than life itself…

8ca346c61dd1530c4a485f63b8883ed3Why do I write? Who do I write for? What is important to me? These are the questions that are occupying my thoughts…

I just finished reading 1984, Orwell’s novel. I am not an American, so I never even heard about it until about 1984… In Hungary it is not a recommended reading. Continue reading “I looked what is more important to me than life itself…”

Do empaths have empathy?

what-is-empathyEmpathy… and empaths. Is the empathy we talk about in the world as a good thing and what empaths have the same?

Empathy 1 as psychologists have it, is not the capacity to feel another’s feeling as your own. That is the “extrasensory” ability of an empath: more a nuisance than a good thing.

Empathy, as psychologists have it, as evolution has, probably, intended, is the ability to recognize another’s feeling and have mercy for them, sympathy for them, want to help them. Continue reading “Do empaths have empathy?”

Conscious awareness is the best predictor of worldly success… your worth a damn factor is close second

classbart

To my surprise, people have no idea that their worth a damn factor has been neglected since they were little babies.

They get “encouragement” to not know that there is such a thing… and then they grow up to be seriously not worth a damn, and they suffer.

How does it work?

If you are consistently praised for being a good girl, a pretty girl, a smart girl… you’ll think that that is what there is to it. That is your ticket to the good life, to paradise.

Arrogance. Ignorance just hides behind it…

arrogance is looking down... comparisonI have been dealing with arrogance in my students.

Arrogance is unearned boastful superiority.

Most people don’t know and don’t care because they themselves are not achievers… but you can have confidence that is justified by your accomplishments, your superior knowledge. Continue reading “Arrogance. Ignorance just hides behind it…”

Back into light… The counter cultural way to

Living in the three levels of value, the systemic, the extrinsic, and the intrinsic, lived fully, and balanced, is the secret to the good life.

The Indian sages, including the Buddha, skipped the extrinsic. They taught people not to live there. They had a disdain for it.

But work is on the extrinsic level, making money is on that level, so skipping it means living a life of charity. Living a life where you cannot value another person on all levels… because you don’t value the values of that level.

Are you trying to use what you know to be well, healthy, vital, vibrant, and intelligent?

4918575268_668c415bd7_zWhen you are trying to use your mind to be well, healthy, vital, vibrant, and smart

Your mind is good for mind stuff… but being well, being healthy, being vital, being vibrant, and even being smart are intrinsic values, and the mind cannot wrap itself around it: they are above mind.

Mind is concerned with what mind is concerned with, and it is never the whole; it’s the pieces, it’s the spot cleaning.

Mind thinks that if it put together the parts it can see are needed, the parts would create health, vitality, etc… but the mind, the mechanistic systemic organ is sorely mistaken. In the paradigm of the mind two plus two makes four… same level where you started: parts. No life.

Life is an intrinsic value… impenetrable by the mind.

3 levels of value. Use it to fall in love with yourself

Coconut Is it good for you?How do you use the three levels of value in your “real” life to fall in love with yourself?

The article asking: where do you look to define your value got a lot of “hits” and comments.

Reading the answers I saw that some fundamental distinctions are missing, in spite of the fact that I have written about all of those before, on this blog.

So after reading the article about the three levels of value, you probably start to see a little bit the difference how the different levels of value change what assessment you make, how your appraisal, evaluation, estimation, measurement, judgment will be, looking from that level.

So let’s look a little deeper and see with examples how that looks.

Where you are speaking from is as important as what kind of value you are judging.

Where is the Value? Money Series Part 3 Republished

value vs price

Value 1 is in the eye of the buyer

I have had a great day. In a conversation with Sarah I started to see what are some of the things you need help with.

It’s become clear that creating an inventory is going to be difficult for you, so I am going to create detailed instructions to help you with that.

The second thing is this: In every interaction when you are operating from your own vantage point, you and your partner are like two trains passing each other in the dark.

What do I mean?
