Everyone has dreams, visions of success… A good job, a nice family, nice people, nice work, nice house…
But that is not what people have… When you ask people what made them who they are today, invariably all of them answer a version of the same thing: The past.
How they express this varies: my parents, my schooling, what I have been doing, my genes, etc. etc. but all in all, they all mean the same: what makes me who I am today is the past.
If that were true, that would be bad news, really.
Imagine that it is true. Now see yourself trying to be successful online. Given your track record, and your genes, and your past behavior, how much chance do you have for success?
I’d love to say zero, but it would be unfair to many of you. So instead, I answer it in a way that applies to all of you:
The same as yesterday. Or a year ago…
Now, that is a total bummer, isn’t it? Continue reading “Will You Succeed or Will You Fail in business or pretty much any other endeavor?”
Why do I read my (and your) Rob Brezsny horoscope every Tuesday? Do I believe that they foretell the future?
But every horoscope, yours or mine, gives me a different vantage point to life, a filter, a frame, through which I can see what is not visible (for me) through my day-to-day frame…
The exact same thing was true about listening to the 67 steps by Tai Lopez.
On average I took a redirection of my vantage point five times a week for three years by the 67 steps. Plus 52 times a year by Rob Brezsny.
To change from where you look, you need to step back, tear away your eyes from how you are looking at things now, and consciously move your attention to a new place, a new frame, a new vantage point.
Most people are stuck with one way to look, in every area of life… like the 35 year old man who still whines that his daddy is mean to him.
Saying “mean” is a fixed way of looking. Continue reading “Following a script or doing your way… what is predictable?”

Hey, when you are BEING a knucklehead… does it mean you ARE a knucklehead?
Or you are just doing the only exercise most people do: jumping into conclusions.
Listen if you can recognize yourself in this story:
A lot of my clients find themselves in a trap…
For example, they make a mistake. They are frustrated. Or they are scared. Or they are angry. Or they are devastated. Even suicidal.
They say to themselves: Here I go again!…
…I am never going to get it right! I am never going to learn this… I better give up while I am ahead! I am stupid! I am a loser! and on and on and on I could go with the examples how people abuse themselves.

Every generation is more entitled than the previous one. Why? Let me explain…
If appreciative is the opposite of entitled… does that mean that all those people who are not appreciative are entitled?
Entitled is a worldview. It is a ground-of-being phenomenon, invisible, like the floor. An unexamined truth. To you. But for the other, it is quite obvious…
So how do you know that you are not appreciative? that you are entitled?
This is how:
- Even when you thank someone, they frown…
- You may even be diligent in thanking someone, you may even feel a stab of thankfulness, but those thanks are the waves on the waters, not the bottom of the sea… The bottom of your sea is entitlement.

We all have at least two distinct and recognizable selves that we switch back and forth between.
In this article we’ll look at intelligence, but we could also look at the character, the attitude, the moral fortitude of the selves… but because I look at the world through the frame of smart and stupid, and only secondarily through loyal/disloyal, I’ll write this article on the intelligence level of your two selves.
I have been toying, playing with the idea of teaching the Effortless Abundance Course…
What has been blocking me is the kinds of people who want it.
You see effortless is a lie… although efforting, per se, is unnecessary.
Efforting is a concept. But doing things, learning things, unlearning things, is sometimes hard work. And for most people, who are attracted to the Effortless Abundance idea, work is a dirty word. Continue reading “I have been toying with the idea of teaching the Effortless Abundance Course…”
What is an adult, what is a child… and does your ego-state (Child, Parent, Adult) influence how much money you have, how much love you have, how healthy you are?
In the starting point measurements I measure (#19) To what degree you have access to your adult capacities. or asked in another way, how much does your adult run your life? The more adult the more results…
And how much is the child running your life, how much is it running your life to the ground?

One of the most surprising thing in the world of humans is that humans can’t tell if they are smart or not. This error leads to lives that are not fulfilled, filled with fear, trepidation, or on the other extreme: boasting and disappointment.
I just watched two episodes of a Korean series where most people were dimwitted.
Dimwitted is just another word for “not smart”… but it is a good word because you can see that something is dimmed… as in “it’s dark here… you can’t see much”.
I like this word because it is more accurate than most. Continue reading “Why you can’t tell if somebody is smart or not… Because in the dark all cats are gray”
I am reading this guy’s book. I say “this guy” because I don’t want you to read it. I want you to read my blog…
In a lot of ways he and I teach the same things, even though we use different words. He uses words from psychology and woowoo science… I use words like Amish Horse Training Method, Memes, Marker Feelings.
He is a money/marketing man. His vibration is 200, his accurate vocabulary is 600.
He is proof that you don’t have to have a very high vibration to be able to look from high enough so you see enough to make millions and even teach others to make millions. Continue reading “Why do you choose the shotgun method that doesn’t work, while you know that the process method works?”
Latticework can be likened to a Christmas Tree.
I once had a boy friend who bought tree ornaments as gifts every Christmas. Even to people who didn’t have a tree… ;-/
One of the barriers to real knowledge, I have found in my students, is compartmentalizing.
The opposite of compartmentalizing is the integrative approach…
I first saw this phenomenon in 1988, when i first read the famous book, What Color Is Your Parachute.
The core of that book is completely wasted on 99% of the readers. The core that talks about portable, transferable skills.
The reason people don’t get it, because they cannot see the integrative aspect…
All in all… if we look through spiritual capacities, the issue is that people look through a narrow cone of vision.
