Does what you know about eating serve you well?

I wrote about skill building yesterday.

One of the skills you need to build is to eat right.

The information out there is faulty.

Just like the person who commented on my site this morning, people, who are clueless, misguided, delusional, have as much right to post on the internet as people with legitimate knowledge. And they do… in droves.

It is as if you went to a school where the teachers were volunteers from all walks of life, and you can’t tell the difference between what they teach and what is so.

A lot like church. If you say it fervently enough, it must be true.

Clarity of speaking is a sign of clarity of thinking… What is your numbnut/moron score?

I am sure you think you are clear. But the number of words you use accurately in a language gives away your level of clarity… And it’s low. I measure it as the 10th measurement in the Starting Point Measurements.

When I say clarity, I mean every area of life… including health as you’ll see later in this article.

Now, why is this important? Because your clarity is what defines whether your actions, your reactions, your emotions are going to be in line with reality or not.

You got well… Yeah, but what did you do? What of what you have been doing got me well?

My health number is at 60%. I am not healthy. Yet.

I know you expect me to be healthy, given that I give you health advice.

But what qualifies me to give health advice is not my current number. It’s increasing my health number from 7% to 60% in a year! That is what qualifies me to give health advice. And of course that I can muscle test stuff for you and me…

You see, most people have a much lower health number, even though they are a lot younger than me. I am nearing 70 years old. And I am from a family with not very high life expectancy.

Longevity is not a Jewish trait.

Another missing piece of the healing puzzle…

chicory-endiveI learned something today. It’s a big catch. And instead of being ashamed… I am happy. Because we can all get better because of it.

I don’t know about you, but I am always surprised when I learn something new. What there is to know rarely show up as something that is missing… and most of my reading rarely results in substantial learning.

But today, two major things… What a day, eh?

One I can share about, the other: I am in the middle of it, so I’ll share once I have made it instinctive part of my life.

This one, the one I can share, is about digestion and well-being.

Before today I had never heard about prebiotics. Or if I did… I must have pooh-poohed it. Just like you pooh-pooh (to express disdain or contempt for; dismiss lightly) many of the things I write… lol. Continue reading “Another missing piece of the healing puzzle…”
