Floundering? Can’t seem to get from A to B? Don’t know why nothing seems to work?

Maybe you feel clueless? Maybe you feel left behind?

Here is MY clueless story...

I have been asking questions more than normal.

In the past seven years, my site's readership WAS steadily growing... until a month or two ago when it dropped to approximately half of what it was at that point.

It didn't, or better English, hasn't effected my income, but it looked troubling enough to start asking questions.

The pull to ask why questions is tremendous... Why me, why now, why people don't like me?

Meh... But what other questions can I ask?

Now, that is a really useful question: what other questions can I ask? Continue reading "Floundering? Can’t seem to get from A to B? Don’t know why nothing seems to work?"

When did it happen, how did it happen that you stopped looking, stopped seeing reality, and you don’t even know that you did that?

In the beginning our eyes sent wordless signals to our brain. And the brain figured it out what that signal meant for you, in that moment. It kept you safe, it kept you in food, it kept you in the good graces of your tribe.

But at some point words, like a narrative, accompanied the visual signals, and after another while we stopped looking and we started to be satisfied with the verbal commentary.

Of course many of us did. But because the people that were going to the words to know what they saw died, they became dinner... Their genetic material didn't learn anything, because they were dead. But many didn't die... and they lived in a false security not informed by reality, and there was no evolutionary pressure to start looking again...

This is the segment of humanity that has grown in numbers the most. They weren't bothered by scarcity of food, scarcity of power, lack of survival skills, they just multiplied like rabbits.

Their offspring comprises now 99% of humanity. The 1% is mostly millionaires and billionaires.

The difference between the two groups is invisible to the naked eye... you have to watch them in action to see that the 99% isn't even looking before they make a decision.

How do you model after a successful person? Do you do what they say? Do you do what you see?

How do you model after a successful person? 1 Do you do what they say? Do you do what you see? It's about modeling to grow, modeling to become all you can be. 2

I do both.

I am most interested in their habitual way of thinking, responding, decision making, and attitude.

Sometimes they know themselves, but more often than not they don't know themselves that well... do not see much into the invisible...

If I see a habit that I want for myself, even if I see it clearly, I still have the difficulty of integrating it... it is not enough to see it.

Integration means it becomes part and parcel with me and my structure. But each habit forces me to find a crack, an opening in my structure, or I won't be able to integrate it. Continue reading "How do you model after a successful person? Do you do what they say? Do you do what you see?"

Are you teachable?

you must become teachableI help people become the person who can have what they want to have. Will I be able to help you?

This is really the bottom line promise I have for you. But like every promise, it is conditional. Conditional on you... on you being teachable. Continue reading "Are you teachable?"

Add 20 points to your IQ

It is starting to dawn on me that the intellectual action of seeing the forest, in spite of the individual trees is not something everyone has been able to do.

Seeing.

Some people, when they are asked to say what is the forest, in our conversations: what is the principle, what is the context, they use jargon... like integrity, or responsibility, the word.

They remember it.

But remembering hearing it doesn't mean that they actually saw it.

Seeing the forest for the trees is 90% from the DNA capacity: Seeing the big picture, and 10% habit.

After courage, it is the second most missing capacity in humanity.

When activated, it adds 20 points to your IQ.
