Why do you need humility to learn anything? Skills, habits

learning and humilityLearning is humbling. Especially humbling is learning about yourself, and learning about your need to change.

You have a Precious I. Whether you believe it or not, whether you know it or not, the precious I is in every single person.

And your precious I wants to have and retain the self-image unchanged, the self-image that says you know everything. That you are the center of the Universe. You are special. And it wants to keep the self-image where it is superior. Where you are, therefore, OK. Continue reading “Why do you need humility to learn anything? Skills, habits”

The Evil Eye and the soul correction workshop

Why the soul correction workshop isn’t for you?

The workshop is starting today.

As I am preparing, emotionally, for the course, and the challenge to crack some hard nuts, difficult issues on the call, I have amped up my awareness, and I am starting to see stuff that I could not see before.

Now, in every interaction, the background intention I have: can I take someone all the way to SEEING soberly and clearly what the correction is, based on what I see in that conversation? Continue reading “The Evil Eye and the soul correction workshop”

Two ways to live… and, of course everything in between

There are two ways to live. Blindly or consciously. Two ways to relate to things: cowardly or bravely.

The brave inherits the earth and whatever it has to offer… In this Bible context inheriting means: enjoying. Benefiting. Emotionally, spiritually, and maybe even materially as well.

But how do you know that you are cowardly? Continue reading “Two ways to live… and, of course everything in between”

How to increase your elbow room so you can dance

In this article I take you through a whole range of emotions to get to a clearing. Just like taking you through a dense forest… But there is a pot of gold in the forest’s clearing… so it is worth wading your way through, I promise.

If you play by the rules you lose

Very interesting observation: British writers, also British films are honest about corruption, about people talking about the rules but not keeping them.

So today I am going to talk about something I have never talked about… In fact I have never thought.

People really don’t know that they are next.

The most important questions: what, how, why, when, who not

The most important questions to  ask: what, how, why, when, who not… What not to do, how not to do/be, why not, when not, who not, what not to pay attention to. What’s not important. Which teachings are b.s. and a good idea to invalidate or just ignore. The no-list.

Without those questions asked in that particular way, that unusual way, your life cannot be like an arrow, cannot have a punch, cannot have a purpose. Continue reading “The most important questions: what, how, why, when, who not”

The other destabilizing energy: the energy of the urges

Yesterday I wrote about the destabilizing energy of avoiding, fighting, resisting. The enemies of having a good life, having a productive life. The enemies of being able to concentrate your energies on what you are working on.

There is a whole other type of energy that works the opposite way… the urges and the cravings. Continue reading “The other destabilizing energy: the energy of the urges”

Your Soul Correction prevents you from a life worth living?

When you change the way you see things, the things you see change!

The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.
-Einstein

I have a disproportionately large number of people asking for their numbers, whose soul correction is ‘Sexual Energy’

I could ponder why the Kabbalists named the soul correction that… but instead of that I’ll say:

How you do anything is how you do everything…

meaning whatever your attitude to one thing in life, will be visible in every area of life, including sex. Continue reading “Your Soul Correction prevents you from a life worth living?”

A symbol of restriction is a chimney. And Forrest Gump

The best symbol of restriction is the chimney. And Forrest Gump

They are, I say, the symbol for growth… Only one way… up.

There are nations like a lake, a stream, a river, a puddle, and nations like a chimney. Most nations devolve into a puddle-like environment for the individual. No growth inspired, no growth encouraged, no growth praised.

So if life, what is ‘normal’, the expectations don’t restrict your activities, behaviors, then how can you reach excellence? Continue reading “A symbol of restriction is a chimney. And Forrest Gump”

Why would he with a 160 IQ produce low truth value science?

iq vs characterOr an even better question: can that same dude see clearly that his science is only 10% truth value?

And another puzzling question: what does it feel like being a shyster?

Does it matter that he is a Pisces?

The issue is, I say, character.

What is character and why is it more important than IQ?

This dude’s soul correction is the same as mine… Forget Thyself. Is lying part of my soul correction? Hm.

Soul correction is a machine with a set of character defects. Lying is a character defect.

Bad feelings… they are the best guidance

bad feelingsFeeling… different feelings, if they are consciously felt, guide you in different ways. Acting on guidance is not jerky… it is deliberate… What is jerky is fixing.

Of course like with most important things, the words we use are, maybe intentionally, used to confound us, to give us no clarity.

It is useful to separate and distinguish feelings and emotions in that feelings are what you actually feel in your body, emotions are the meaning you gave to those feelings.

Margoczi, a Hungarian author, says that emotions are wholly and fully created by words. This is useful to consider, even if this is not exactly accurate, for the purposes of having a sense of power, a feeling of power, this is very useful.

What may be true is that if the feeling moves… Continue reading “Bad feelings… they are the best guidance”
