The phenomenon of wanting to please everyone, wanting everyone to like you… is the hallmark of slavish people, needy people, who can’t and won’t be successful at anything.

If you are an entrepreneur, unless you rein this neediness in, and internalize that no one needs to like you… you won’t be successful… because slaves are never successful.

Who are the people who really choose providers, coaches, teachers by who they like are the same people who won’t like you if and when you do what you need to do to take care of yourself. They consider you fodder… ‘I like my meat well done… I like my trainer to be nice, naive, and putty in my hands.’

No distinction.

What is the Promised Land I have been talking about?

Yeah, I expected this reaction. And no, I am not some religious cult, and the Promised Land is not somewhere physically, like on Mars.

The Promised Land is embedded in our DNA… a new Man, fully godlike, and fully equipped to live in productive peace that was foretold, the thousand years of peace.

Moses made the Israelites wander in the desert for 40 years… that is how long it took to change their mindset

Nature or nurture is a big question, even though, in the big picture, it won’t matter.

  • What is part of nature can be changed. In fact it is being changed effectively all the time.
  • What is part of nurture is harder to change, but it’s possible. It just takes more work.

Just the opposite of what you thought, right?

I am a good example for nature being changed: I got smarter than when I started, smarter than my siblings and my parents… through application. High achievers in the world are mostly of this type: born with little or average, worked harder, accomplished more than what they would get if they didn’t grow what they earned.
