If you need to eat by appetite, but you seldom have appetite… you are, instead, hungry.
When I mention appetite, I get puzzled silence in return.
Most of you don’t know what appetite is.
Your body has a language (like cats! lol) that is nonverbal. If you don’t speak the language then you are out of touch with your body, and likely your health is low. How do you model after a successful person? Do you do what they say? Do you do what you see? It’s about modeling to grow, modeling to become all you can be.
I do both.
I am most interested in their habitual way of thinking, responding, decision making, and attitude.
Sometimes they know themselves, but more often than not they don’t know themselves that well… do not see much into the invisible…
If I see a habit that I want for myself, even if I see it clearly, I still have the difficulty of integrating it… it is not enough to see it.

Wherever you are in life, in any area of your life, you are in ess. In ess your actions, your ideas, your advisement will come from a “source” that wants to maintain that ess… If you are fat… then maintain being fat. If you are inactive, then maintain inactivity. If you are always engaging in bombastic dreams, then maintain that… engaging in bombastic dreams.

But of the two bad things: dramatic change or staying miserable, staying miserable is still more attractive, because at least you know that place.

Regrets, I’ve had a few … .How many of us are stuck in ruts because we cling to past slights, traumas, missed opportunities, and betrayals? The best way to let go and move forward is to acknowledge and accept those negative things you did (or had done to you) as steps on the path that brought you to where you need to be today.
Today, recall the pain of your past. Allow yourself to get to the point where you can accept that they were blessings; the perfect things that helped you build a new you. Most of us are sure we can. We make decisions based on what we see, and our decisions and actions take us to live the life we live.
Most of us live a life of quiet desperation. It was true at the turn of the last century, and it is true now.
There was a discipline and coaching paradigm I studied and used about 9 years ago. It is based on axiology, the Nobel Prize nominated work of Robert Hartman.
Axiology is the study of value or quality. It is the science that deals with what is good and what is not. Beyond and independent of subjective judgment.
The test (Value Profile) we ran in axiology had 4 parameters by which we could map out the potential for success of any individual.
One of them relates to the title. The parameter is called “clarity”.
