Are mind movies, vision boards mental representation?

movie-mind-controlAre mind movies, vision boards mental representation?

Yes and no. Mind movies and vision boards are a mental representation of the end point of some fancy that you have… creative visualization or not so creative visualization. Low vibration, low consciousness, wishful thinking stuff.

It is created for people and bought by people who have no business to use it, because it only increases their misery, their sense of inferiority. Why? Because mind movies and vision boards are based on a false theory, that if you really-really-really want something, then it will move towards you.

But as an empath, I can tell you with certainty, that exactly the opposite is true. The really wanting actually blocks what you want, it blocks life force, and keeps you unable to act on what you want. Mostly because you have no idea what to do, because a mind movie shows you no path to achieve what you want.

So why is a vision board or a mind movie NOT mental representation

So why is a vision board or a mind movie NOT mental representation… meaning either it won’t happen, can’t happen, or it will lead to a life of no fun, no joy, no fulfillment?

So let’s look again what is mental representation?

OK, for a moment I will ignore what Wikipedia or others say mental representation is… and look at what it is or should be.

The most important element of mental representation, as I SEE it, is to include everything that is present in reality that belongs to the thing you want to represent mentally. And unfortunately for 99% of humanity’s definition won’t cut it.

  • Definition is putting everything that seems to belong to a topic, a word, an idea, a concept… everything that seem to belong.
  • Whereas distinction takes a different approach: it looks at what doesn’t belong. And what you are left with is what it is… As Sherlock Holmes famously says:
When you have eliminated all which is impossible then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth..

So if a mental representation bases itself on definition, it is faulty. Why?

Because of the Anna Karenina Principle. And because ‘everything’ cannot work, because of many reasons, like incompatibility, or cognitive dissonance, or not-enough/too much of one thing, etc.

The only valid approach to a mental representation of what works, what can work, what will work, you need to use the method of exclusion… Like Sherlock Holmes.

The Anna Karenina Principle comes from Leo Tolstoy’s novel. It says:

All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way

or said it a prosaic way: a deficiency in any one of a number of factors dooms an endeavor to failure.

We are interested what works… what will make you ‘the happy family’

If an area of life has too much of one thing, or things that don’t cause it to work, it must have too little of something else, in what would make it work… so it cannot succeed.

Life, project, diet, health, happiness, fulfillment… all obey the Anna Karenina Principle.

Here is an example. A client asked for her free health measurements. I wrote back that she needs to use the Big Bundle nightly for the rest of her life, because what I found is not curable, but can managed.

The Big Bundle can extend her life by 4-5 years… so instead of dying by this time next year, she can see her child finish school… or whatever is important to her.

So this morning I sent her an email asking how she was doing, and if she was using the Big Bundle.

She wrote back that she uses it in the evenings, and some evenings she uses the Effortless Abundance, others she uses the Unconditional Love Activator.

In essence she is sentencing herself to earlier than necessary death… because what works is using the Big Bundle all night, to counter the life killing disease.

She was doing what unhappy families do… add more and more stuff… little of what would make it work.

Life, the areas of life won’t obey the method of definition, the more is better, more, better, different. The consumer mentality. They only obey the method of exclusion, aka removing what doesn’t belong, removing what will not make it work.

What is the difference between a blueprint and a vision board?
What is the difference between an action plan and a mind movie?

Let’s see an example. If I created a mind movie of me writing an 80 thousand word book, you can predict that in about three months time I’ll probably be ready with the writing part of the book. Maybe even the editing part.

But would still have to go to an uncharted territory of formatting the book. To design a cover. To getting endorsements. To have a plan on how to LAUNCH it so it comes out of the gate swinging. I guarantee that I do not know how to do any of that!

joe_bob_nat_ryanAnother example.

If you created a mind movie of being a celebrated author on a worldwide tour to speak in front of thousands, but you don’t have an agent, you don’t even know what you’d write about. You don’t know what people search for, what kind of book they flock to, you have no way to promote the book on podcasts, on the radio, on talk shows. You have no experience, no habit to write, what you can predict even if you have a ghost writer, this is a pipe dream.

The difference is whether you are worth a damn in the area you dream about or not.

If one person creates a mind movie of increasing their monthly sales to 20K… the first question you need to ask: how much is your monthly sales now.

Your track record is important. It shows your starting point, it shows your current skills, maybe even your attitudes.

My site used to 200-300 visits a month by people who want to make their fortune with the help of mind movies.

What is predictable is that they are certified beggars…

They are people who have a track record of wanting something for nothing. People who wait for the money to roll out of the woodwork and into their hand. They are sold on a lie of how the world work.

I have an ex student who wasn’t able and wasn’t willing to give up believing in that stuff. She hold her dream of becoming something she has no intention to take any steps towards. Not any. Not even to read a book. Instead she escapes into romantic paperbacks… She is the perfect example of the person who would make mind movies.

It is hard to escape the hype of the fake teaching that says: create whatever you want with words, imagination, prayer, energies, whatever.

It is hype, and it is a lie. Very popular among losers.

My site gets another 1000 visitors a month of people who want to match their vibration to what they want. They were taught that if they match their vibration to what they want they can automatically attract that thing: money, love, success.

What is almost never said, never taught outside of here and The Science of Getting Rich book, is that you can grow out of any circumstance if you become too skilled for the job you are currently doing.

One of my readers is a cab driver in a big city. Last time we spoke he told me he was fretting because he didn’t know the city well.

Not a good way to be a cab driver, but everyone has to start at nothing.

In the Peak book  the book I talk a lot about, one of the examples the author gives is the cab drivers in London. You don’t even get a cab there unless you know your city inside out.

For most people it takes three years diligent study and practice to know London.

Ye_olde_Lahndan_townI learned Budapest in one year. I learned Jerusalem also in one year. I learned New Jersey and the Metropolitan area of New York in four years. Syracuse took me three years: very complicated.

taxibrainI learned these places not as deeply as a London cab driver needs to know every building, every sculpture, every institution, but just enough to find my way easily to any destination.

How did I do that? By challenging myself. Always finding the path first on the map and then driving it. Lots of work, but for me, totally dyslexic, it was worth it.

You need to invest work into becoming an expert in your work… instead of barely getting by.

If you want more than what you have, then good enough is not really good enough!

And know that you only have so much energy available, so you can’t spend it on irrelevant stuff, or you won’t have any energy to spend on becoming an expert. that is, again, the Anna Karenina Principle.

I have yet to meet a person who lives as if they knew this.

I watch people doing the irrelevant, unproductive, the easy. And if they do any, they leave the difficult, glycogen needing tasks to the end.

I also watch people who mistakenly hope that funny memes and inane articles, and stupid interactions on social media will give them energy… They actually use up as much energy as if they were creating something worth creating, or thinking deep thoughts, etc.

I spend an hour a week with funny memes. A block of one hour.

I spend no time on social media, even though it would help me in business… maybe.

Instead I read. I read what I enjoy reading.

Reading refills your energy coffers. It uses less energy than the energy it gives back to me.

When I am really tired, I read lighter books. Books that put me in a lighter mood. So I can sleep better.

When I am tired after eight hours of working straight, I take an hour to read in bed. I get up energized. It refills my batteries.

So what would be a useful thing for you to learn, so you can lift yourself from the sea of ordinary folks who live inside the more, better, different paradigm?

What it is that you need so you can SEE what is essential and what isn’t? So you can start living the Anna Karenina Way, the happy family way?

It is the ability to see. Discern. Distinguish. See the essence. See beyond the surface. See the consequences. See from the side.

All these are part of The Sight capacity, a bundle of 10 genes, not just one… as is my usual activation. 10 genes, ten capacities.

Use it to help you, for now, seeing what is essential…

Activate The Sight capacity
