Should you be on Facebook? Does it raise your vibration?

FACEBOookEvery once in a while I check my facebook page. I have little hopes that I will get anyone from there purchase anything from me…

Today I got an email from Facebook that one of my last posts, The Grand Delusion article gets shared more than my other posts, and so I should throw some money at it, so they show it more than just about 2% of my members… lol. 2%…

OK, I’ll bite, I thought and said, ok promote it for 20 dollars. A few hours later I got another email:

“One or more of the posts you promoted don’t meet our guidelines and have been disapproved.

Your ad wasn’t approved because it uses profane, vulgar, or threatening language, or insults, harasses, or demeans people, or addresses age, gender, race, physical condition, sexual preference, or generates high negative feedback.”

I had to laugh. I never thought about myself that way, but I mean to defame products that earned their fame by defrauding, misleading people. And I bet that those product owners, teaches, healers, consider my articles insults… harasses, and such. I guess, unintentionally…

I am a warrior (or champion?) for truth… or something like that.

under-the-hoodOf course Facebook is designed to be “mainstream” which means reflect and support the socially acceptable, the mores and norms of the majority. But, as it is, the majority is miserable, the majority is always wrong, the majority is like the lynching mob.

This is why only a handful of my readers is active on Facebook: the rest find the smearing of a thin layer of chocolate on turd distasteful and impossible to digest.

Don’t be mistaken, I call turd everything that pretends to make a difference but doesn’t. Like all those beautiful looking, beautiful sounding quotes, or the 15-item type of articles that sound soooo good, but only do one thing: deepen people’s despair.

I have a student who grew up in a Christian household. They went to church regularly, and he really wanted to experience what people seemed to experience in church… but he didn’t.

He decided that he should have a rich inner life, a purpose, a connection to the divine, like all those people in the church seemed to have.

He felt inferior and has lived his life (he is around 50 now) consistent with someone who is not connected, someone who is inferior but should be able to feel connected, have a purpose in their life, do his life’s work.

This “I should be able to” notion is very very very frequent with people. It was born in childhood. It was born from a comparison. You were asked to do something that was beyond your capacity, or maybe even your comprehension… it was pure unadulterated evil, abusive.

Examples:

  • you are 10 years old. Your father declares loudly so his wife can hear it too: “daughter, you should mediate between your mother and me…” you don’t know how to do it, so you are left with an attitude: you should be able to do it, otherwise he would not have asked you to.
  • you are 5-6 years old. Your father abuses your mother (or your sister), maybe beats her. You want to protect your mother/sister, but you are not big enough, not strong enough… you are left with a “should be able to” for a lifetime.

Now, you are an adult, at least by your age, certainly not your attitude and behavior, and you go to Facebook. “All those people” seem to have a great life, be happy, smart, rich, and here you are… not happy, not rich… your life could use a little improvement.

And you read all those great slogans and quotes, and you think: I should be able to use these, but alas, they are useless.

facebook fake lifeWhat you don’t know is that all those people are marketeers. They are marketing an illusion. Behind the facade they are just like you, hungry for real results, hungry for a good life… but they won’t tell the truth.

Stay away from Facebook. It digs you deeper and deeper with every visit into a world of comparison where you have drawn the short end of the stick.

If you want to improve your life, this site as a great choice. Here there is no delusion, no lies, no marketing, no promises, just the truth, just the real. If you are willing to do the work, you’ll get results, not hype.

  1. wet noodle or limp dick is NOT in the flow, they are heavy and resisting by their limpness.

Being in the flow means being in a dance… nothing is limp there, all awareness, all being present, really like a dance.

  2. Just trying to be human. Sense of self in flux. Trying to be aware of awareness. That’s it. One practice. No one to impress. Can’t impress you. Nothing to fix, thanks for that. How can I go with the flow without be a wet noodle or limp dick? I will wait for answer. Hate waiting.
