As it is meant to be done... this sentence has a rhythm, a music... and it is rare to see it happening.
this sentence is part of the integrity statement:
"Nothing hidden, being truthful and honest, doing complete work, working from an empowering context, and doing very well what you do; doing it as it was meant to be done or better, and without cutting corners.
"In other words, HONORING ONE'S WORD: Doing what you know to do, doing what you said you would do and on time, doing what others would expect you to do even if you haven't said you would do it, and saying when you are not doing this as soon as you realize you won't be doing it or won't be doing it on time."
Judging from the integrity numbers I get in the Starting Point Measurements, no one is doing the Amish Horse Training Method the way it was meant to be done. The average integrity number is under 10%.
Children think that... and unless you've grown out of childhood, YOU sill think that.
The main difference between the horse and you is this: The horse learns and you don't. You will keep the voices personal, and thus will not allow this exercise to start you on the path to becoming a human being.
You'll remain a wretched little kid complaining about the voices and using them to justify your behavior that you have never amounted to much.
You prove it to me and to anyone who is stupid enough to listen, that you can't. That no matter what you do... nothing can help you.
You are only proving to me that you will not, willfully will not do what you said you would do... not that you cannot.
Do I have compassion for you? I do... a little bit.
I have ruthless compassion. So I refuse to play your game.
Only a game-free life will cut it.
Without integrity nothing works. Not your life... not your projects... not anything.
But you knew that. Your non-working life is a result of a sum total of out-of-integrity decisions.
And yet, the voices, even though they speak hate, are not YOUR voices. They are as impersonal as the truck or 14-wheeler ambling down the highway...
You reacting to them as if they were personal, your personal witches from Macbeth, your Greek chorus from the Greek mythology... shows that you insist on remaining in the wretched game you have been playing: "I am a little hapless clueless kid, and nothing an no one can help me."
As if there were no person in there.
But that is, of course, a lie. There is a person there... reduced by your game to a whining little kid.
But you still have free will. Life is not over until it is over. You can choose what kind of life you life from now on. You have chosen what you have chosen... and we see what it got you.
Free will is a moment to moment right to choose. Will you choose to make different choices?
There is also another question: do you now expect yourself to unchoose all the wretched choices you have been making? Go from nothing to perfection?
If you are playing a game, like I see that you are, this, falling short of perfection and giving up will be the next phase of your game.
Don't go there.
I still have a corner of my life where I have no integrity. None. I will get to it when I get to it. My life works meh... not very well because of that corner lacking integrity. But it works to the degree it works. Muscle test says it works 60%. The area that is not working is 8%... a little area with big detrimental affect on the whole.
Consider that it is not personal, that it is not you talking to yourself, and that you obeying, hiding from, suffering from, being mortified by, being jerked around by is YOUR DOING.
The voices are innocent. You are running a racket... and there is a definite payoff.
Most of the time the payoff is: remaining wretched. And comfortable.
Instead of magnificent, flying, an expanding human being.
