What will it take to steer your life to the good life?

I don’t want to change you into my vision of you. Rather, I want to motivate you into becoming the person you are capable of becoming.

– Life Mapping (Bill Cohen)

Display and existence. These are two Landmark Education distinctions.

As I am looking at my students, the biggest missing is not intelligence, not diligence, it is these two distinctions. Continue reading “What will it take to steer your life to the good life?”

The crash and burn style of life… are you guilty of it?

The hardest thing for people is to find the middle ground, the sustainable, the mean. The smooth. The life they claim they want. Everyone, on and off the internet, is trying to monopolize your time.

It is a lot like walking on a rope… any movement, leaning to the left immediately needs to be balanced to the right.

In rope dancing the consequences are clear and immediate.

In plate spinning: the consequences are clear and immediate.

In life, even in business, the consequences are removed, timewise, and unless you are astute with a very wide cone of vision, you don’t know what you are causing with each and every movement you make…

No movement is also a movement, by the way.

Change… The hardest thing. Why? Do you really want to change? I didn’t think so.

If you wanted to change… if you actually wanted to change… so your life can change too… where would you make the change?

I just had a conversation with one of my students who shows promise to be able to change.

The conversation was about how to behave, what to do when you notice mistakes, mistakes YOU make.

Mistakes are like the fruit on the fruit bearing tree. Symptoms. Show what kind of tree you have…

On a side note: where do I look when I assess who will change and who will not?

I will look at two places:

  • 1. do they argue or offer explanations or excuses when they get feedback from me. Argument, explanations, and excuses are the sign of a foolish person who won’t take feedback, and either won’t change, or will do it to either curry approval from you, or to prove you wrong.
  • 2. An immediate testing tool is the 5-question exercise. If they do it, that is a very good sign that they will be willing to change.

Your weirdness factor. How weird are you… or not

Weirdness Factor

One of Tai’s steps talks about the weirdness factor, your weirdness factor.

Only one student whose mother tongue is not English interpreted weirdness correctly.

What the f… right? Compared to what?!

You think that you know English. But your English is a personal English… what you mean is not expressed by the words you use accurately, and what you read is not what the writer of a sentence meant.

So you see, with words being such a flimsy, unreliable vehicle for thinking and communicating, the world cannot be a better place.

The troubles in your life cannot be fixed with the language that created them. 1

My little contest to move you into a capacity you need

I am always suspicious of things, books, movies, series, that are best sellers.

Why? Because if it is likable by the masses, then it probably is full of low vibration stuff.

The other day I didn’t feel like reading heavy duty stuff, I was craving story. Stories are very important to humans: you get that as you can. Most, alas, gets it in gossip. Facebook, trash sites, click-bait and such.

The vibrational level of gossip is 70. Adjust your vibration to get closer and closer to 70.

Sitting in the living room, pretending to do your own work, while others gossip: you would be sitting in your bedroom if you would ever want to be higher vibration.

On how you are, and how you are not like an ape

Will all that intelligence remain dormant?

Osho, who I still consider a mentor, says that cultivation is wrong.

This is probably the stupidest thing he has ever said.

What is cultivation? Let me explain it with the ape comparison, don’t be offended.

The ape

The ape uses all his faculties in his day to day life. Continue reading “On how you are, and how you are not like an ape”

Feeling totally stupid… not being able to learn something

it always seems impossibleBeing told that you are stupid is one thing. Feeling totally stupid because your cannot seem to be learning something that you need… is that same thing plus.

I haven’t often experienced this before…

I had a real hard time learning Arabic. Danish was another challenge.

Then I had an impossible time learning basic programming: I had to do the class three times to get it.

I need your help… I am undecided

a slide from the secondphase activators courseThe 67 steps coaching is a really good program, but I have a few people who bought it and it is not a good match for them. They are not doing the work.

I am looking at some options:

1. let them go
2. offer them something that has proven itself to create amazing results and transfer their subscription and coaching to that.

What am I talking about? What is the “thing” that has proven itself to create amazing results?

Four years ago I created and ran a program, called the Second Phase Activators.

It ran, if I remember correctly, for 20 weeks… Four sessions a week.

People who graduated from it have such a solid foundation, spiritual foundation, that I can count on them to bounce back from any adversity.

Why? How?

Context is decisive, or why your dreams only exist in words

You have freedom to create any context you wish. There are only two kinds of contexts:

1. Empowering Context
2. Disempowering Context

Empowering means, simply, that it gives you power to go in the direction you meant to go. It is like the wind behind your back.

Disempowering, as in anything negative, what takes you off your path, hinders you, takes your power away, makes you doubt, etc. Continue reading “Context is decisive, or why your dreams only exist in words”

Choose your life in the first hour of your day. The Backdrop

being-firstEvery day works best if and when you have a context set in the first hour of the day.

If you prefer the imprecise New Age-y language of Esther Hicks, the original quote is here

Take the time to line up the Energy first, and action becomes inconsequential. If you don’t take the time to line up the Energy, if you don’t find the feeling place of what you’re looking for, not enough action in the world will make any difference.

She is trying to say the same thing. Trying. Continue reading “Choose your life in the first hour of your day. The Backdrop”
