The key to attainment is counter to human nature

There is a key to attainment, and it is quite counter to human nature.

To attain is to succeed in achieving (something that one desires and has worked for).

The master-disciple relationship is based on it, and today, we can say, safely, there is no master-disciple relationship nowadays.

Every person that has ever attained… attained to the highest level a human can go, invented it for themselves… because you can’t find it anywhere, and no one can teach it to you.

When a memory intrudes on you, persistently…

When a memory intrudes on you, persistently, you should consider it as a sign that there is something in that memory that needs to be dealt with.

Mostly wretchedness, I have found. But wretchedness not dealt with, not confronted, not looked straight in the eye, festers and like an undertow, it runs your life.

My memory is an incident from 35 years ago.

I was in Germany, and this man treated me as special. I fell for it. I remember I was going to do anything for him, but he was more awake than myself, and he dumped me.

The difference between cords and energetic attachment, psychic attachment is many.

Cords don’t grow roots, they stay where stay landed. They cause damage only by virtue of being there.

Energetic attachments, psychic attachments are “alive” and grow roots, coil around an organ, go from one organ to another.

They are designed to kill, or at least debilitate. They grow fast and siphon your life away.

Being an empath is no picnic…

Being an empath is a bitch… You don’t only feel another’s duplicity when they allow you, you feel it when they are dead and you are reading their stuff. You feel it in a movie, when the whole movie, on the surface is supposed to be a compliment, but underneath it it is a left-handed compliment.

This whole issue always exists, but recently it has been stirred up and made personal by my temporary difficulty of handling some stuff… and it will last for a few more weeks, I can tell. Another aggravating factor was Osho’s Jew-bashing. Continue reading “Being an empath is no picnic…”

Dark mood… what caused it and how I got out of it?

Today I descended into the kind of dark mood I used to live in all the time.

It’s been long coming. Even someone with my abilities, my happiness can be worn thin… and this is what’s been happening. I can only imagine what it must be like for you to be so near to where I am now, all the time.

Irritant after irritant, I won’t go into detail about all of them, but will mention a few.

Voluntary slavery

Sometimes I see something, or read something, and it hooks me.

I weep about it, dream about it, ponder about it.

If I know what it is that is significant, or if I even know what it is that I saw, I write a blogpost about it. After all, unless it is shared, I have a sense that it sunk back into the undifferentiated nothingness… as if it never happened.

This is why I ask my students to share… so far no one has gotten it… the gift that it is.

Osho: Self-knowledge is the most difficult thing

People ask my why I discontinued the Playground.
After all I loved that program… so why not continue indefinitely.
Two reasons: 1. There were only four participants. But that is not enough reason. 2. The Playground is a knowing yourself program, but knowing yourself needs to be done by you, not by me. People kept coming, but they didn’t continue the work of getting to know themselves at home, in their own time… So all that “self-knowledge” work I did with them was wasted.
Why? Because stronger forces won… You’ll see in this amazing talk, 40 years ago by Osho.
