We live in a culture where we are supposed to live at others’ convenience. Where we are all supposed to dance to the same tune, march to the same drummer. Get excited about the weekend, even more excited about holidays. Want to be with our families, eat a big meal, and complain about indigestion afterwards.
Thanksgiving is a great example. The holiday preparation has taken over everything already a week ago. Everything. You drop life, you drop your projects and like a good soldier, you do the thing that is expected of you, talk about the holiday, think about the holiday, shopping, cleaning the house, inviting people or being invited… Nobody home. Just a machine. Continue reading “Forget superbugs… worry about supermemes!”
No one asks how I have overcome the propensity, the natural inclination, tendency, predisposition, proneness, to only remember what I already knew when I first did Landmark programs back in 1986.
The fixed mindset thinks that I was special… that I was born special, or something like that. But the truth is that I was ordinary like everyone else, and besides that, English is my second language.
I remember when they used jargon, i had no idea what they were talking about… So I started in many ways behind everyone else. I had a lower vibration, a total sob story for a life, a victim mentality.
What was maybe special about me, is that I saw that if I wanted to get to the same place where I saw everyone else to be, I had to work twice as hard. And the rest is history.
I, like everyone else, took notes. For the most part notes are worthless. They actually keep you from hearing…
But… Continue reading “How did I build a latticework to hang on new knowledge?”
All mischief and all power comes from the invisible. Invisible to you, and maybe invisible to society.
It’s not hidden. It is just not obvious to the untrained eyes. What your eyes need is training and guidance.
My methodology, observing life through many distinctions, is a winning one.
It drives up, and makes visible what has thus far been invisible.
Racket, frame, memes, voices, states… the distinctions are all opportunities to see another aspect of the invisible, and gain control over yourself, so you can start moving in the direction of the good life, whatever good life is for you.
For example, your soul correction. It is a distinction to look through and see some formerly invisible stuff. Continue reading “The methodology of making the invisible visible”
This morning I received an email from a young man who paid me to measure his starting point measurements.
He could be speaking for you.
I need to take better care to my physical body. Like you said, drinking more water is the first step.
I don’t take care of my body, and I can’t understand why.
I feel like I’m missing gratitude. I hate to say it but I don’t feel grateful, and I don’t understand why.
Gratitude probably will come up to everyone, at least in the United States, where this week is Thanksgiving week… and you are supposed to be grateful. Or pretend that you are.
The more lavish your Thanksgiving, the more money you spend, the more food on the table, the more you do it to cover up that you are pretending. And pretense is the killer of the spirit.
Continue reading “It is the week of Thanksgiving… Why can’t you feel gratitude? Why your thanksgiving is hollow?”
I went grocery shopping today on my own. I was carrying some 20 lbs of groceries up the steps to get home.
I ran into Leo, my musician friend. I explained to him that carrying those 20 lbs of groceries illustrated to me what it was like to climb the steps a year ago, when I was about 20 lbs heavier. In 18 months I shed 40 lbs.
He said: Losing 40 pounds is hard work.
I said “no it isn’t…” He wanted to know how, and I told him that is what I get paid the big bucks for. He laughed, but it got me thinking. Continue reading “Reframing: is losing weight hard? is it hard work? or is it something else?”
I am always looking for guidance from whatever is giving guidance.
I am also looking for confirmation. My mind is a meaning making machine, like yours, and I catch myself looking for meaning in everything.
I am like a GPS… in order for the GPS give you accurate actions, it needs to know where you are at.
I am looking for the GPS function, the locating function part of the guidance. I am an experimenter, and I am aware, what can be easier, right? Continue reading “Reframing: Are you happy?”
Frame: state change. Causing yourself or another to change their emotional state, aka attitude.
The myth of “IS”
One of the invisible tools the memes use, the memes that keep us trapped and unable to take control of our lives is to spew “is” on us.
OK, that was a long sentence. let me see if I can reword it. The memes freeze us into a life where we have no power. It is in the wording. The freezing power comes from the wording.
We have spoken about the having to, needing to, wanting to, and should… these are a group of tools the memes use to rob us of our own power, and render us puppets.
The tool that renders us powerless to change is the improper use of “is”.
- Whenever you feel you need to change, this meme tool is at work.
- Whenever you point a blaming finger at yourself, at the world, or at others, this meme tool is at work.
- It is under learned helplessness. It is under resignation, cynicism, and unless you learn to recognize it, you’ll fight it… like Don Quixote was fighting the windmills. No chance to win.

You’ve heard of the expression: like a deer caught in the headlights syndrome: frozen, seeing the world one way with no escape route.
Most people live their whole lives in that state: see the world in a fixed way.
To one degree or another we are all are like that.
The more of your life is lived in that state, the more powerless you feel, the less options, the less choices you see.
You can examine any two people with different results in life and you’ll see that they are stuck in one view of the world, but their view is different.
Obviously, having new choices, having new options, having different actions available to you is a good thing if you want to have a life worth living.
People who feel out of control, people who feel that they don’t have a say in what happens to them, are people with depression.

Yesterday I accidentally was lead to a year and a half old article of mine. I was stunned. I didn’t remember writing that article. It was the best article I have ever published… 100% channeled.
It was about the difference between asking-your-body type of muscle testing, and the asking-Source type of muscle testing.
Every nutritionist, chiropractor, etc. ask your body. Continue reading “The two types of truth testing… are you asking the body or the soul?”
This article could be called a “life hack” which is a fashionable word nowadays. I don’t mind… but whatever you’ll call it will define it… Because what you’ll call it will be a context… What? Yeah…
And context is the ultimate life hack.
Most people don’t understand the distinction: context
Why is that a problem? Because of all the elements of life, context is the easiest to change. And when context changes, life changes.
So you don’t understanding context means that life cannot change easily, cannot change fast.
Now you are interested, I hope.
Have you ever asked yourself: What am I doing? Continue reading “What makes life worth living?”
