Touched, moved, and inspired... Let's look at inspired... 1

What is inspired? I am sure that as many people I'd ask as many responses I would get, so let's get on the same page about it, OK? And here is another word: divine... we'll call divine anything that is from the invisible domain of reality... nothing to do with some god, or angels, or other 4th plan human mind products.

First the verb: inspire: 1 : to move or guide by divine influence. 2 : to move (someone) to act, create, or feel emotions : arouse.

Then the adverb: inspired: outstanding or brilliant in a way or to a degree suggestive of divine inspiration

And the noun: inspiration: a divine influence or action on a person believed to qualify him or her to receive and communicate sacred revelation

Are you inspirable? Inspired?

Inspiration... what is it and why do you want to have it?

Inspiration, breathing life into inert or unconscious matter... is the difference between a machine and a Man...

An inspired action, an inspired life, an inspired person is vastly different from most people, actions, lives on the planet in that what guides those is what is beyond the 10% reality, and beyond the emotional dramatic interpretation and meaning based lives humans live nowadays. 1

Inspiration, it seems, is a right-brain phenomenon. Curiosity is also a right brain phenomenon... and so are conscience, inner motivation, etc. Few even know the words.

Whether inspiration has anything to do with spirit, or if spirit is even real, is another question: I won't concern myself with that question in this article. It won't really matter, it is a sidetrack.

The secret of happy producers… NOT what time they get up in the morning, or how many books they read…

My students, like popcorn, are starting to pop at the same time. It is hard to say what made each pop... especially if your vocabulary (distinction) is not keeping up with the richness of the invisible reality.

What do I mean?

I have been intrigued with the idea of helping people to be intrinsically motivated, ever since I read and re-read Deci's book: Why we do what we do.
